This was a fun course. It was not too challenging, I would say on the easier side compared to other courses. We enjoyed our round. Course was in good shape Nice scenery with the McDowell Mountains and the City of Scottsdale. Definitely worth playing here if given the opportunity.

This place is great. Despite the relatively slow place of play (to be fair it was WMPO week), my friends and I were really impressed with this course. Also--the clubhouse is stunning with an awesome view at sunset and at night. The food was so good we ate here twice lunch and dinner that day and enjoyed drinks on the patio. Thank you, McDowell, for the hospitality

Course needed to be mowed would be my only complaint. You really couldn't distinguish the rough from the fairway. The pro shop, bar, and grill were nice with good seating. Course had character and good greens. Got paired up with two nice players. Overall, enjoyed this course on our golf road trip. I would recommend 👍

I have been playing here for 18 years and McDowell Mountain Golf Club is in the best shape it has been in after an overseed in 10 years. thick rough, lush fairways & fast greens. Kudos to the maintenance crew!

Played here last week, thought the greens & fairways were in great shape and challenging enough for my game, pace of play a bit slower than usual and left my wedge (just purchased) on 12th green, went back when realized at 13 green i was missing but was miraculously gone, (obviously group behind us that were constantly hitting into us took it for lack of another possibility) got no help from course employees in getting my wedge back or the fact guys kept hitting into us. Anyways it’s been a week, obviously long gone now, still just a wedge i guess, but a little disappointing.

Very nice, challenging, yet playable course. Friendly service, good pace (early tee on a Friday in April), and nice amenities. Green fee includes a bag of range balls. A lot of spaces on the range. Great first visit.

Thoughts from a 22-handicap golfer: This course was nothing short of breathtaking. We played during twilight, with the sun setting over freshly cut fairways, where each hole felt like stepping into a new painting. After finishing nine, my friends and I grabbed a drink and shared a pizza at the bistro, enjoying a scenic view of south Scottsdale. It was a genuinely memorable experience, and I'd gladly come back to play again.

Wasn’t very impressed for the price. Pace of play and proshop were great. Rental clubs are garbage and were overpriced for a dirty chunked up set. Never saw a cart girl and the grab and go was closed at the turn at 3:45pm which is wild during peak season. Much better public courses in town that prioritize guest experience even if they charge the same price.

Played Thursday morning and two people didn't show up. I was playing as a single. Paired with a walker and pace of play was fantatsic. Never really waited and never pushed from behind. Course was in good shape. I really enjoyed my round and had food and a beer after playing. Great experience and would definitely return. Hope my other rounds in scottsdale are as fun as this one!

Decent golf course but incredibly over priced for its quality . More a muni course than an upscale North Scottsdale track Almost $200 for a 5 hr round last time we played . Clubhouse is nice but the service was very poor .

We had our wedding at McDowell Mountain golf club this fall and had an amazing experience. The space was incredibly beautiful for both reception and ceremony. We had the most perfect sunset over the lawn for our reception. All of the staff was super helpful and made out day run so smoothly. The event coordinator Shannah was such as asset to our incredible day. She was available pre-wedding to answer all of our questions even when my mom became pestering with small detail questions. On the day of Shannah was hustling on the property all day long to make sure out special ran perfectly. She staye…

Excellent course with great customer service. The fairways and greens are in great shape right now and the views at sunset are worth sticking around for. Grab a beverage and relax!
