In summary

Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale is highly praised for its well-maintained courses, impressive layouts, and attentive staff, providing a memorable golfing experience with beautiful views and excellent amenities. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the slow pace of play, particularly on the Raptor course, and issues with customer service and booking policies. Despite these criticisms, many consider it a top destination for golf in the area.

The service and staff were amazing. The clubhouse and locker rooms were very cool too. Some big names on the lockers which were so cool. Some good views but overall a pretty flat course. The course was in great shape and it was long and tough which I liked, but it made the pace of play slow.

Grayhawk is simply the best daily fee place to golf in Scottsdale. They nail their goal of making you feel like “a member for the day”. The staff: warm, friendly and attentive. Everyone from the outside services team, to members of the golf staff, to the food and beverage team all make you feel comfortable and well taken care of. The golf: both Raptor and Talon are excellent layouts, with impressive conditioning no matter what time of year you visit. The views are spectacular as well! Simply put, if you’re looking for the ultimate total golf experience in Scottsdale, Grayhawk is the obvious…

50 dollars extra for a cart to myself. For a high end course, that is ridiculous. We-Ko-Pa did not do that. And I read the policy on carts before I played here. Doesn't mean I like it or agree with it. Update: I was a little salty. Course was spectacular. Greens were amazing. The course and greens were very, very nice.

The Grayhawk Raptor Golf Course is terrific! It is a true Fazio....elevated greens, some false fronts and an interesting layout. I would give the quality of the golf course 5 stars. Unfortunately, the staff is not very service oriented. We were unable to use the driving range before we teed off due to American Airlines losing our golf bags. We finished at 4:40pm and wanted to hit just a few balls at the range, but were told that the website states that the range closes at 4:30pm, so no go. We paid $952/two player to play Grayhawk and we weren't allowed to hit 10-15 balls on the range from 4:40…

My husband, daughter and I played the Raptor course. Last year we played the Talon. The course is absolutely beautiful. We ate dinner there after, and it was a great experience. There were no Marshalls patrolling the course. We had 2 slow foursomes ahead of us. We waited 5-10 minutes between every shot. It was very frustrating. Paying $1,000 to play, we expected better experience. I did call the pro shop halfway through and they came out, but that lasted a few holes. I don't think we'll be back. Update: The head pro did make an effort to call me to talk about this review. I appreciated that a…

Played both courses now and the condition is bar far the best I’ve played on. Hate playing in the uk after this experience. Staff in the pro shop were very helpful. Talon is shorted and more technical compared to the longer and straighter raptor course. Practice greens and chipping area etc are brilliant to warm up on.

UPDATE: Manger issued a partial refund. We played both the Talon and Raptor courses at Greyhawk. The Talon course was fantastic great layout, well-maintained, and we finished our round in about 3½ hours, which made for an excellent experience. Unfortunately, the Raptor course was the complete opposite. There was no management presence on the course, and despite multiple slow groups ahead, nothing was done to keep play moving. For a course charging around $300 per round, this is absolutely unacceptable. It’s a shame, because the facility has great potential, but the lack of oversight and cust…

Nice course. I would say overall I had a great day. I would be hesitant about going in the water again. I was riding high until I went into the water. Keith had advised me not to, but I didn't listen, and we ended up bickering for a bit. I was worried it was going to put a damper on the day, but we didn't let our emotions get the best of us. The course is nice. The tees and sand are excellently maintained. Great atmosphere.

TLDR: Do not golf here, horrible experience. Went to play this course with friends on a golf trip. We were notified it was cart path only a couple of days before. I have no problem with cart path only however leaving 9 minute tee times during this time is unacceptable. We were backed up 3 carts to a hole for the majority of the time. The Marshal came by stating they would try and speed things up but this is how it always is, and nothing changed. If they knew it was always this backed up they should have the foresight to space out the tee times. The second time we saw a Marshal he was very rud…

Booked a round here last week and they called me in the middle of the night EST (7:45pm) to tell me 72 hrs before my round it is cart path only and there is a seeding project. This was not known when I booked which I assume is why they were calling all the tee times that were playing that day to make them aware to see if they want to cancel or still play. I put my cc down for $1700 when I booked. I left a voicemail the very next day (48 hrs before my round) after talking with my group. I mentioned in the voicemail I wanted to talk about cancelling or adjusting the round because we had one per…

My son and i played the talon course. It is a challenge. We happened to get paired with two cool guys that made it even more fun. Island green is worth the trip.
