What People Say

In summary

Dogwood Hills Golf Course is praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for both locals and visitors. The course offers a visually appealing setting with distinctive holes, contributing to an enjoyable golfing experience. However, some golfers have noted issues with slow pace of play and limited practice facilities, which can detract from the overall experience.

Dogwood Hills is a decent local track in the Bella Vista area. The course itself is in fair condition, with playable fairways and greens that offer a solid round for the price. That said, the pace of play can be slow, which takes away from the overall experience. Another drawback is the practice facilities — instead of a full driving range, they only offer nets to warm up, which isn’t ideal if you like to hit a few balls before your round. Overall, it’s a good option for a casual round in the area, but there are better-conditioned and better-paced courses nearby. Decent layout, but slow pla…

Really enjoyed the diversity of the golf course selection over at Dogwoo. The Brittany little par three fun warm-up if you can’t get on anywhere else usually you can find a way to get on here. They’re still working out conditions, but I really like this course and all of courses in Bella Vista one of the best places to have a weekend trip if you’re looking to golf trip

Another great course here in Bella Vista. Great facility and just a peach of a course. Lots of great par 3’s and a beautiful closing hole on 18 which was a 150 yard par 3 over a huge pond. Kind of an Amen Corner shot if you will. Tee boxes were great and greens are fantastic. Fairways too. Amenities on the course are just great. Even on a somewhat wet course from early morning rains the round was not dampened. Except for this: Several 5-some’s held the day up for several of us. This was a complete catastrophe. 18 holes at 5 hours. And these two groups causing the delays were playing a best bal…

Very nice golf course. I had the unique experience of playing this course with almost no one else on the course due to some weather earlier in the day. Course is nicely laid out and greens were soft. Lots of rain earlier in the day but did not affect the course as it appeared to drain fast and well. Some really nice distinctive holes but overall a good course.

First time playing Dogwood Hills and I liked it a lot. Greens were in excellent shape and rolled well, even though I couldn't get the speed dialed in. The fairways were cut tight, so you could clip the ball nicely. I played okay, because you could always see what was in front of you. Not every hole is a driver, forcing you to make good decisions off the tee. We played the blue tees and I will probably move to the black next time, but there definitely will be a next time in my near future.

We just finished the Havenwoods & Iron Golf fundraiser today. Nice course, but could use more directional signs of the upcoming holes. Be aware that there is a bike trail that cuts through certain parts of the course that might be dangerous for the bikers if a ball goes errant. We took a golf cart down a path after the road crossing, that abruptly ended - somewhere after the 6th hole, I believe.

People that work here are always great. The prices for everything (activities cards, boat registrations, etc.) have been raised since the last assessment increase didn't make it to the vote. No surprise there....only thing not increasing is my ......unhappiness!...see where I flipped it there? ....

Course in very good shape. Course in interesting and fun. Play it! Hole 1 has hidden dangers left and right of the fairway! A heads up would be nice. The signage to take you back (13 I think) is poorly marked. It's has you cross a street and double back against a par 3 you already completed.

We visited in July 2020, aka Pandemic World. The staff were all extremely friendly and well prepared to deal with golfers playing golf during a public health crisis…masks required at the clubhouse and cart barn, a person outside to check you in, social distancing when going inside to pay. We played the Brittany which is a gem of an executive course - challenging in all the right ways and forgiving enough to be fun for anyone. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Visited this place for the first time in 12 years. My parents had retired here, since passed, and we were doing a memorial tour. Course was in GREAT shape. It's as I remember, competitive but not too difficult. One of my favorites in BVV.
