In summary

Double Dam Golf Course is praised for its friendly and accommodating staff, well-maintained grounds, and a challenging yet enjoyable course layout. The clubhouse and restaurant receive high marks for their quality food and service. However, some visitors express concerns about the course conditions during dry spells, the high green fees, and occasional slow pace of play due to large groups. Additionally, the camping area is noted for its proximity to the course but criticized for tight spacing and minimal tree cover.

We had a great time here. I'm a terrible golfer, but the woman in the pro shop was so helpful and encouraged me to try 9 holes (my husband is a seasoned golfer and was also very patient)! It was lots of fun, a great way to spend a Tuesday afternoon. Nachos, a clubhouse and local beers were a great way to finish off the day! Thanks we'll be back for sure :)

What incredibly nice people who run this golf course and campground!! Quiet, laid back atmosphere. Great golfing despite a very wet season! Nice clubhouse and restaurant. And the best part is...I got a hole in one!!!🏌️‍♀️🤣

Went here recently to enjoy some golf and camping. Club house staff are great and the clubhouse itself is quite nice. Lovely outdoor patio with a small stage for entertainment. There was a great entertainer playing on the Friday we were there. Had a nice evening enjoying a few drinks and the music. The camp sites are ok, but tightly spaced and not many trees. Full hookups were nice. The golf course was in poor condition due to a lack of rainfall. Had to play around sprinklers on a couple of holes which we weren’t too happy about. I get the need to water when you aren’t getting rain, but they c…

Stopped at the golf course during a drive. Just stopped for lunch. Well worth it just for the food! Had the nachos and fried chicken. Great food for a high end restaurant, let alone a clubhouse. Great work guys!

It is definitely overpriced for what you get. The greens are in very poor shape and the sprinklers were running, on the fareways, in the middle of the day on a Saturday. There was no marshall so we were stuck behind a group of nine on the front 9, while the group behind us was playing so close we were ducking balls. For $75 a person, there are definitely better quality options!

Really nice and clean campground.. Golf course is well laid out. A few tricky hikes but good value. Staff are very pleasant. No WiFi in the campground unless you are a seasonal guest.

We were disappointed that they would choose to mow the fairways and roughs all around us while we were golfing midday on a Saturday. Very distracting. Additionally, the greens are very dry and rough compared to what we are used to. On the plus side, the price is hard to beat. Two can golf for the price of 1 at most other courses.

I booked a site here because of its 4.7 review, but I didn't realize there was nothing kids could do here. There is no playground. If you like golf, this is the place for you. I told them we couldn't come because I have kids and asking for a refund, but still they gave me a gift card to go to their camp. (in the future) No consideration at all.

Fantastic course, a tucked away hidden gem. A gorgeous front 9 with rolling hills and a straight shot back 9 with plenty of hazards to work around. The camping is reasonable with full amenities and ground camping options. Definitely check this place out!

Haven’t been here in years, what a shame considering we live so close! I need to remember this is a good local restaurant choice, not just a golf course. Friends asked us to meet here for a drink one evening, so we did. Of course we had a snack while there - monstrous plate of loaded nachos! Service was excellent, seriously impressive attention from both waitresses going above and beyond their duties. They were closing early yet still managed to make us feel welcome and not rushed. We definitely plan on stopping here more often!

Had an early dinner today, great food and excellent service, our server easily went above and beyond, something you don't see much of these days.
