Doublegate Country Club

We were here for my wife's class reunion. No golf, tennis, etc. Just a delicious meal with her classmates. Unfortunately her two best friends did not come for the reunion. I give three stars because the meeting room was not marked and we had to wander around and find it. This was probably the reunion planners fault and not Doublegate. The diner and presentation by the Doublegate crew was a solid five stars.

Great atmosphere. Wife is part of the USTA and enjoys the camaraderie.

I photographed a wedding that hosted their reception at Doublegate! They were very professional, and on time with the timeline. Every member on the team was so helpful!

Very nice Sunday buffet including salads, deserts, Prime rib This Sundays theme was oriental having veggie egg rolls , freid rice Asian cucumber salad etc. I had the fried chicken and Mahi Mahi with Yukon Mashed potatoes since I had Chinese the night before. The fish and chicken were very good lets all give a shout out to the chef

Very polite employees, food was excellent. They created a wonderful environment for my niece's sweet 16 party. It absolutely could not have been better.

The overall experience was good. However, I overheard the supervisors talking negatively about the employees. This behavior is not appropriate for the workplace especially around the customers. I strongly urge for this not to happen again and that the higher staff treat their employees better.

Very nice club, good course with a great mix of short and long holes, good condition (probably most of the time great, I played when dormant). Everyone there will treat you super, just all around nice people. Nice houses sort of surround the course but aren't close enough to ever affect play.

No stars (you are forces to select at least one star when leaving this review). This place was not good. Veal was all grizzle (emphasize really bad) and costed $28. It only came with a salad with some flavorless blue cheese. Very long wait from ordering time to when the food was brought out. Not enough bread for the whole table. No one ever checked to see how the food was or if we needed anything. They Compted me significantly when I complained but not enough. No one at the table was satisfied with their meal either. Won't go back, went to a Waffle House to eat a make-up meal.

Just reopened after Hurricane Michael and still wonderfully hospitable and welcoming. Course took quite a blow. Hundreds of trees down and still completely playable. A true testiment to the commitment of the staff. Can't wait to play it again.

In 2019 I had my Black Tie Engagement Party at Doublegate Country Club. The Club Manager (Danny) was Amazing! with assisting us through our entire planning process, til the end of our event. The STAFF...hands down!!!! THE BEST EVER!!! Professionalism & Class. All of our guest from Texas, New York, South Carolina etc, really enjoyed. They talked about it for months. Thanks Again! Wonderful golf course and country club! Service is top notch and family friendly events are hosted regularly. I would highly recommend!
