What People Say

In summary

Doyne Park Golf Course is appreciated for its relaxed atmosphere and suitability for beginners or those looking to practice their short game without needing a reservation. However, many visitors note that the course is in poor condition, with issues such as dry, unkempt greens, and a lack of maintenance affecting the overall experience. Some concerns about inconsistent treatment of patrons have also been raised.

I had a great short game practice session here. But the course is in very rough shape. The greens are burned out, are the fairways. Also full of broad leaves and clover. Not to mention worm mounds on the greens too.

I'm a black male who went to golf with my girlfriend. I had $13 cash and was told it's $14 by the attendant. I asked if I could catch him for the buck next time since I am there often and was told "no."I was directed to the ATM 6 blocks away by the same attendant. I came back, paid, and proceeded with my round. As I finished the last hole I observed 2 white males walk on the course without paypaying . I approached the attendant and asked why they didn't have to pay and was told by him that he they paid, which they didn't and he knew it because I observed him watch them walk past the pay statio…

Dry, torn up greens. Dried out, dead grass fairways. Easy to tell this is not the county's priority. Still a fun course to get a quick 9 holes for chipping practice.

Not kept up well (very dry and hard ground and greens have anthills and dirt patches), but its a great place just to practice and have fun.

Great FREE golf!! The course is pretty unkept though. Dandelions are everywhere, but it’s passable because it’s free

Greens are horrible. Understandable due to no maintenance. Minus that, it's usually a very nice course. Had a hole-in-one there.

Course is in terrible shape. A few years back it was a hidden gem for short game practice.

Not kept up up like a typical golf course. No fairways and ant hills on many of the greens.
