In summary

Greenfield Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens and fairways, offering a pleasant and challenging experience with its narrow fairways and contoured greens. The course is noted for being a good value, especially for a quick 9 holes, and the staff is generally regarded as friendly and helpful. However, some visitors have experienced slow pace of play and occasional issues with staff interactions, which can detract from the overall experience.

I haven’t been here since the late 90’s. First thing is I normally lose between 2-6 balls on this course in the past. No lost ball this time, lol. It’s a nice course, mostly straight, although the fairways are narrow. The roughs are decently cut and the pace is decent.

For a Par 69 this course is very nice. The new greens complexes fit the land so well and have lots of contours. Fairways are thin and bunkers ok. But for what it is it is a gem. Fun to play and some beautiful views like #14 and #15.

First time at Greenfield Park tonight. Had a great time tonight on a "sunset 9." Buck a hole is more than a fair deal. The greens are small which require precise approaches. Once on, they roll great. The service was very good. Adam was very helpful. I will come back for sure. One suggestion for the golfers - fix your ball marks, plus one more! It will make the course all that more enjoyable for everyone.

Course is in good shape for a county/public course. However, pace of play is an absolute atrocity. It took us 2.5 hours to play 9 holes behind groups with carts. Instead going to the slow groups to speed up, the clubhouse idiots came out to yell at us for hitting too close to groups ahead. We used pitching wedges only on a par four and still caught up to groups ahead. None of our tee shots exceeded 225 yards and we still spent most of our round waiting to hit. I played 2-5 balls on some holes. What a shame.

Play the course twice now. Both times were very slow rounds. Typically waiting 20 to 30 minutes on the first Teebox. Would be more helpful if they had a ranger or starter on the first tee conditions were OK.

Great public course. Has mostly straight holes, and fun greens to putt on. Everything was maintained very nicely. I was surprised they didn't put yardage on the posts for each hole, but just had to read sprinkler heads. Would absolutely come back and play here again.

What a nice golf course for a park district course! Bring the Big Dog because these holes are long! Greens are fun and challenging!
