Overall very good. Only concern today was the lack of ice available to golfers. It was 34 in the afternoon today and although drink sales are important, safety is more so.

This used to be a great golf course. The greens were always immaculate, the fairways lush, and the price was reasonable. However, prices have increased considerably and corners have been cut on maintenance and upkeep which it certainly shows now. Anytime of the year the greens have not been what it used to be.....read other recent reviews and others are saying the same.

The course is poorly cared for. Also not impressed by the harassment my group received. 18 holes usually takes anywhere between 4 to 4.5 hours and my group of 4 had one very new golfer and another with a bad shoulder wanting to try it out. People kept apparently complaining that we are holding people up when there was only sometimes another group a hole behind us or just entering our hole when we were finishing up that round. A couple times we had the cart guy come to us and tell us we are 2 holes behind on schedule and making people wait. It is not like we were messing around. We were just tr…

Absolutely stunning. Course in beautiful condition. Greens are a little firm and super fast. The only thing that was upsetting was that it was the only time I got to play here

Great staff and amazing course. Very friendly and professional. The course setup is very good and the conditions are exceptional, with fast greens that run true. Would recommend.

Course is a mix of wide open link style with some tight tree-lined holes. Almost a 5-star if not for some very dry and hard areas, including tee boxes.

Love this course. Owners are great and honour veterans. Don't like the young worker that said we were ridiculous for taking long when we had to wait for people in front of us.

Pretty good! No complaints really. Just not amazing. If you’re looking for a round of golf in the area that costs 65$ this is the place! Decent layout, greens were good.

Just played here with a 4pm tee time on a Saturday in August, a beautiful day and not too hot... yet the course was a ghost town. Don't think ill be playing here again, considering it's more expensive than the other course in Duncan, and the website also looks like it was made in the early 2000s. Overall the course was ok, not real complaints other than the amount of pitch marks on the green was alarming for the lack of people playing.

Played on a very hot Saturday morning in August. Took about 5 hrs to play. Course maintenance is not great - bunkers very poor. Course was firm, especially around the greens, which made misses penal. I’m not sure about the target audience for this course - it’s not cheap ($70), not a lot of fun, can be a hard walk, and conditions not very good. Go to Mt Brenton or Cowichan (or even the 9 at March Meadows) for a better time.

I've played this course quite a few times over the years. It is one of my favourites on Vancouver Island. It looks like it is wide open and easy from the road, but don't be deceived; it's a very demanding track. But they also have different sets of tees, including a very advanced set that my wife enjoys. Like any course on the island, it can get a bit dry at times, but overall the conditions are great. One thing to be aware of is that if you're not in pretty good shape, it's a bit of a demanding walk. It's easy to not recognize the elevation changes, but your legs are talking to you walking u…

It’s an alright course, but you get a much better player experience at Mt Brenton or Cowichan - and Duncan Meadows is more expensive than the other two.
