In summary

The Dunes Golf & Winter Club is frequently praised for its beautiful, well-maintained course and scenic setting, with many appreciating the friendly staff and quality food at the clubhouse. The course layout is noted for its challenging yet enjoyable design, appealing to various skill levels. However, some visitors have raised concerns about the condition of the range balls and occasional issues with pace of play and staff interactions, particularly regarding treatment of beginners and women.

First time golfing at this course and I love it. Great course in all aspects, but what got 5 stars is the fact they accommodate the needs of all guests, especially women. Saved my game today!

Beautiful place, friendly people. A bit of wildlife to see. The geese really make themselves at home, watch out for poop! Awesome food at the clubhouse too. Occasionally you'll get to see a dog running around, that makes my day 20 times better.

We had and amazing time with the Canada day theme. The location is nice and well taking care of . The food at the restaurant was amazing . Will come back and highly recommend this golf club :)

Great course, only complaint is the golf range. You’d think with all the money they charge for memberships and green fees they could afford decent range balls. Hitting of mats isn’t ideal either. Overall nice course and good layout!

My experience was nothing less than amazing. My waitress was so kind as to create a frothy, citrus drink that is so refreshing. With the warm summer sun, and the beauty of this golf course I enjoyed every single sip.

Didn't honor my Canada Golf Card discount. Nice course but thick staff.

Course is alright. Marshalls constantly hounding you about pace of play, very difficult to play with beginners or anyone that needs a little extra time to get around the course. Chinook valley is much nicer and cheaper

The Mother's Day buffet at The Dunes was an absolute delight from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect stage for a memorable celebration. But what truly stole the show was the exquisite spread of culinary delights that awaited us. Every dish was a masterpiece, but two in particular left an indelible mark on our taste buds: the crepes with white sauce and the crispy, savory bacon. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, leaving us craving more with every mouthful. It's safe to say they quickly became our favorites of the day. I must extend my sincerest compl…

Beautiful golf course, I’ve been many times and truly enjoyed myself. However, today I decided to go with a female friend of mine and was met with ignorance, misogyny, and cruelty from members and staff alike. In the past I have gone with my father and experienced no issues, but since today it was me and another woman we were treated like we were lesser than. Because my friend was a beginner and I am not very experienced, I tried to be respectful to the other more experienced players by waving them ahead to play past us as I taught my friend the game, what was said back to me was hateful comme…

Gorgeous course that was challenging and scenic! The turf was in fantastic shape and perfectly groomed. Greens rolled true and were fast. The only negative about the course is that you have to cross a number of roads on the back nine and can be a bit confusing and an eye sore. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing course in great shape for being so far north. I golf kamloops and Kelowna mostly and this place was on par with some courses there will definitely be going back. Ended up being paired with a member and they were very helpful. Good good the bosses should be proud of all the staff and the really proud of the grounds crew. Keep up the great work

Went to play 9 holes this evening, Tee time of 6:30pm. We got stuck behind an extremely slow moving group who would not let us play though. By 8:30 pm we had only finished 7 holes and had lost the light for the evening. When we approached the club house to explain the situation the response we got from the manager was “Well do you have a phone? You should have called us. It is not up to marshals or the course to dictate the pace of play it’s up to the players to let us know”. Rude and blaming the customers for not having any support staff on the course at all in the evening.
