In summary

Eagle Creek Golf Course is often praised for its friendly staff, scenic location, and improvements in course conditions, particularly the greens. Many golfers appreciate the challenging layout, especially the back nine, and consider it a good value for the price. However, some visitors express concerns about inconsistent fairway maintenance, confusing course layout, and discrepancies in cart pricing, which can detract from the overall experience.

This is a great and open course. Really beautiful environment and scene. Staff was friendly and other golfers were nice as well. The fairways aren't too bad. Some dry spots which entail bouncing and rolling. However, it was a fun and amazing course overall. I'd say it's a hidden gem almost. Definitely worth the trip and price!! Beggars can't be choosers!

Ok where to start. First the good. The staff are very friendly, the lay out of the course is mostly good, the location is lovely, the back 9 is much better than the front 9, and its cheap. Now the bad. The fairways are non existent on some holes, how you can have a golf course that isn't mowed is beyond me, on some holes the grass was 3 inches long and you can easily lose balls from the middle of the fairway. The greens are bone hard as are the tee boxes. the 5th hole is ridiculous and almost impossible to par the way it is laid out with no fair way what so ever. the18th is one of the most biz…

The course played very well under dry, 91° conditions. The course is well maintained, the fairways were nice and lush. Make sure you hit them, lots of hazards, and some are narrow... The greens are holding up nicely, quite a surprise. Great spot!

The course is coming along and is in much better shape than it used to be over the years. Several holes have had some improvements made to them and the fairways and greens are all looking better. There are still a couple of holes that need work but overall the course is fun to play.

We've been playing there for years. The people that work there are friendly. The course is in good shape. A great deal.

Low traffic course with some surprisingly complex holes. It's not in the greatest shape, but it's definitely acceptable for a public course. And at the price per round, this is a hidden gem.

04/10/24 Visit & Edit: I gave it a second chance yesterday and played the entire round, giving it a second star, as the course was very green and well trimmed - very unlike the summer visit. The greens were naturally challenging due to contour, but were a bit choppy. However, the rest didn't change, and some very simple fixes could easily earn this place another star. (1) The website says $20 per cart, but reality is $20 per person for a cart. That needs fixed online. (2) Some signage would go a long way - notably like how to get from #8 to #9. Conversely, there are things that might not be ch…

OK, this review is a little different. I've played this course for 6 years, and it has been in various conditions throughout, usually fairly decent. I played a week ago, and it was in really good condition... nice, green fairways, pretty decent greens, etc. During the summer months, I don't think they irrigate the fairways and surrounding areas, because the grass is dry and yellow, and you can (and I'm not exaggerating) barely get your tee into the teeing area cuz its as hard as concrete! Here's the reason for this rating of 1-star: Whenever I've played here, it has always been $20 PER CART (…

One of my favorite places to golf in area. People are nice, not to pushy and the course is looking better every time I play it. My only problem is the 18th hole. They need to remove some trees so you at least have a shot at the green in 2.

The course was beautiful and the gentleman running the club house was awesome. If I only had to deal with him I would go back, and rate a 5 stars. I had 2 groups of 4 out today and we finished 18 holes in 4 hours and 15. Well within the pace of play for a group of 4. We were harassed 3 times by the Marshall 2 of those times were to speed up even though we had short waits on a few holes with the group in front the our group of 4 behind us never caught up to us. Turns out the Marshall was the owner. I will never come back if she is around, to harass a group who is going at a solid pace is not ac…

This course is really on the upswing! Greens are in great shape this year! New ownership has really jumped in and made positive, but not drastic changes. Play here weekly and enjoy the course.
