Eagle Knoll Golf Club

This course was absolutely fantastic. Greens rolling true and fast. Fairways in great shape. Great service at the club house. It was a windy day when I played and the front nine was a two club wind the entire time. Met a regular on the back nine and he helped me maneuver the course for better scoring!! Great course!! Played it on 4.12.24.

Contacted the course in June about hosting an annual fraternity golf event, Kyna, the event director contacted me in less than 2 hours. We just recently had the tournament this week, and it was a great turnout. We actually had a rain delay for 2 hours and the course was nice enough to let everyone use their indoor simulator thanks to Ben (the GM). They offered closest to the pin and long drive competitions on top of everything and gave free round cards for rewards. The staff is a bunch of hardworking, classy, nice people. Best public course in Columbia and super easy to work with 100/10.

Words cannot describe how upset I am with this course. The staff was not welcoming whatsoever and it seemed like they were just trying to scam us. The course is a good layout but still very dry. Will probably never golf her again because of the staff. They need to FIGURE IT OUT.

Course clearly hasn’t been maintained since its grand opening, divots everywhere, not one smooth green, I could go on. The workers were ALMOST worse than the course. Very unwelcoming experience, didn’t seem like any part of the staff wanted us to actually be there. Would have had a better experience if I was blind and deaf.

Had a great morning and afternoon playing the course. Was super well kept up and the staff were super friendly to our big group. Super fun and challenging course. I’ll be back soon.

Challenging and fun, The Knoll is the best public course in mid-Missouri. A must-play if you’re serious about golf, and possibly the best deal out there if you sign up for the membership.

Maybe if the staff would’ve spent some time on providing service that wasn’t ridiculously bad for me and my good friends, I’d spend my time writing a long review on this course. DO NOT GO HERE. I’d sooner go hit golf balls in east St. Louis rather than attend this course again.

This place has great staffing, and a great course. Would recommend to anyone that has not been.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but my experience at Eagle Knolls was extremely disappointing. The course conditions were terrible — fairways were patchy, greens were inconsistent, and bunkers looked like they hadn’t been maintained in weeks. On top of that, the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful, making us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers. Pace of play was painfully slow with no course marshals in sight to keep things moving. For the price they charge, I expected much better. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst golf experiences I’ve had, and I will not be retur…

They shut down our carts when we paid for them, because we had “too many”. We called ahead to let them know we would be recording for a school project
