Eagle Point Golf Club

Eagle Point rated 3-1/2 stars and located just south-east of Alabama's largest city, reinforces the Birmingham area's excellent golfing credentials. It is another in a strong line of very enjoyable, pleasantly undulating and well-designed golf courses. Exuding plenty of natural charm and character, and not without its challenges for players of all levels.

Eagle Point Golf Club is one of my all-time favorite courses. I walk into the clubhouse and I am greeted with happy, caring employees. The course is amazing! When you arrive to the 1st tee, you think this course will be a slice of cake... Think again. This is a well-designed course with a mixture of birdie holes followed by holes were all you can do is try to make par. I love this course and I hope y'all do too!

The staff is extremely friendly each time we go out and the course is in fantastic condition. My wife and I took lessons from Jon Oliver (I think he is the Director of Instruction). He was very knowledgeable and had a very simplistic approach to help us understand our swings. He also showed us how to practice and implement the tools he had given us. This was key to our successes. We have now dropped both our handicaps combined of 27 shots. I enjoyed this course. Nice layout. Offers a variety of holes, some with elevation, some not. Tee box selection was adequate. Greens were in great shape. I played in November so grass was a little dead on the course but that is to be expected. Staff was also very helpful and kind. I needed to get in and out and they fit me in a gap starting on the 5th and I was able to get it in alone in under 2 hours. Not a very difficult course but playing for the first time there were some tricky spots. Traveling on business so a second round is out of the question but definitely would enjoy playing again w…

I have always enjoyed playing here but the club house never seemed like a friendly place to me. I was there Saturday to use the driving range only. Two guys behind the counter, 1 customer in front of me...I waited 20 minutes while one guy finish up a phone conversation and I asked the other guy is the driving range open, he said yes but i just closed out my register and walked off. He ended up coming back and asked how many tokens I needed...I started to say none and leave but I said 1 figuring he may give it to me for the ridiculous wait. Nope, he took my card and charged me the full $4.25...

I love this golf course is worth the drive from Houston to Mont Belvieu and for the money too. The golf course is in best shape every time I play out here.
