The golf course will be closed effective October 21, 2017. However, the tennis court membership remains available at this time and is fully operational and also offers an after school program.

Easily the WORST golf course near Wilmington, or in North Carolina for that matter. Horrible upkeep of their "fairways" and rough. It is about 90% chopped weeds and dirt patches. water collects everywhere because there is no drainage, you literally can not tell if you have made the fairway or are in the rough. The cart paths will give you a headache because you are basically off-roading. Do not be fooled like me by their friendly rates and nice looking website as well as their false advertising. I have to idea who wrote these 5-star reviews, because there is just no golfer in the world that wo…

I played Echo Farms this weekend and was extremely impressed with the conditions. The greens rolled about 10 on the stimp meter and they were true. What really impressed me was how inexpensive the greens fees were. They have multiple rate structures depending on the time of day you can play. I would highly recommend this golf course.

I wanted to play and support this course, but after two calls to get questions answered I'm only left feeling frustrated and am looking elsewhere to play. The individual that answered the phone on both occasions just did not come across as helpful and seemed a bit too much like a smart ass for my tastes. If this is the type of management the course uses, it is unfortunate and may explain why the course is having financial difficulties.

There is a hometown atmosphere to this property, but the city of Wilmington allowed it to be sold for development. It is being ruined forever as I write this review. It use to be so beautiful with wildlife, walking space, quiet space, and trees. Now it is mass cookie cutter condos. Criminal politics has ruined it.

Course in bad shape. Cart paths are deteriorated. Teeboxes arent even flat let alone the grass is way too long. Didn't see one maintenance guy out there the whole time which explains a lot. I'm not even good at golf and I can tell you this place is a joke.

Wonderful course, great friendly staff. Very sad that it will close in the near future. Going to build more homes, one thing this town doesn't need is more homes.

Great golf course. Poorly run by matrix golf and hospitality. They currently are trying to shut it down to build housing on it. They want to ruin this great green space that has tidal ponds on the course.

Pricey for what it is. Course is nothing special and they often are cart path only because of standing water. Wilmington Muni is better for the money.

Don't waste your time or money on this course. Staff was the most unfriendly group of people I have ever encountered. Course was in terrible condition. Avoid at all cost!
