Elk Ridge Golf Course

Beautiful October weather, great views to the east and west along the gorge. Played fast and clean despite recent rain. Wind seems to be a constant factor, but never a 'problem' on approaches. Premium rental clubs were well-maintained. Course is compact with narrow fairways but forgiving rough and first cut. The minimal OB is nice. Challenging pin placement and difficult to read greens. Considering the elevation and slope towards the river, they've done a great job of counterintuitive movement, angles and ridges on the greens. Highly recommend.

Checked in for a foursome , 18, power carts 8/29/24. Friendly and receptive front desk in the Pro Shop. Sunny and slight breeze 930 Tee Time. Warmed up chipping and putting and opened the round Ten minutes early. Course presents itself very well. Greens are speedy and reads are challenging. Pace of play was about 14 minutes per hole with no one in front or behind our group for two holes. Hazards are there but manageable. Wind off the Tees became an issue as for going lower on the ball placement on the Tee. Conditions of the course are ideal. Add to that the nice scenery. I would recommend putt…

Very nice course and friendly staff. Well kept fairways and some of the fastest greens I've ever played. The course is great for all skill levels. Putting here is very difficult. Elk Ridge has beautiful views on every hole. I couldn't stop taking pictures. The view from the tee on the 18th is amazing. We played an early round and were lucky to have the sun come out for most of the day. A bit of a drive for us, but we will be going back as much as possible!

cheyenne is the best. She really helped make our experience amazing. We had such an amazing time here. We live right down the street and can’t wait to come back enjoy this beautiful place.

Love visiting Elk Ridge golf course. There's no better scenery in Southwest WA, and the course is typically in great shape. Drainage is great so you can play pretty much year round. The greens are a little too sloped and undulating for me but that's probably just because I'm a terrible putter. 🤣 The renovated clubhouse and food options are just the cherry on top. Do yourself a favor and make the drive out here to play a round or two.

Really enjoyed our 18 holes of winter golf here at Elk Ridge. Club house staff were way nice. The scenery is amazing, loved the beautiful vistas present on nearly every hole. The course plays very dry even in the winter. Zero mud to found even first week of March due to great drainage which produces way less cart path only days. It is the Gorge so more wind on average but hey that's part of the challenge. Worth the drive in, we'll be back.

The head pro/manager is just an embarrassment to this beautiful golf course. One of the most breathtaking views along with some well maintained greens. But the head pro that was on shift today was just so unprofessional and cannot control his anger. I paid for my tee time and was intending to walk the course, but decided on the first hole that it was too cold and I’d rather ride with a friend. I should’ve paid right away, yes, that is on me. But I intended to do so after my tee time to not back it up. The head pro comes to me at the turn and tells us he is sick and tired of “our kind (sound…

We reserved a round while I was in town and we were not disappointed, this is a beautiful course! Although I've never spent so much time in the sand... Great way to spend the afternoon! Pro shop (Tim) and bar staff were super helpful and friendly. Thanks for everything!

Elk Ridge is one of my favorite golf courses. The front and back nines play totally different. Only a few trees along most of the course to block the views or in which to lose a ball. The rough gets tougher throughout the summer but the fairways are generous. The greens are highly contoured so three putts are not uncommon. It is not unusual to see deer and turkeys along the second hole. As it is located in the Gorge, it can be windy. It's a beautiful drive out of Vancouver along 14 and an easy drive from Portland on 84.

First off beautiful course in the mountains. We were there for the us kids golf ⛳️ tournament tons of rain 🌧 but the kids played through it. Course was in really good shape. There is parking for Rv by the course at the top we parked at the bottom at the resort and it was a hike to get up to the course. They had hotdogs and hot chocolate which was great for the kiddos will be back for sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Golf course was fine. Front nine played in under two hours. Back nine took three. Needed the Marshall to be out on the course as it was all stacked up. Unsportsmanlike gentlemen behind us kept hitting into us and dropping the ball less than 10 feet away, even though we had no where to go. We kindly asked him to stop and he just kept on doing it. If they can get a Marshall out on the course, we’ll be back. Otherwise, there are other options with better play nearby.

First time visiting. Shot a 78. Absolutely loved this golf course. Definitely worth the drive. Highly recommend. Great staff, and well maintained too.
