The Resort at The Mountain

Room was great ours had a fireplace which was nice and they have a heated pool plus hot tub open year around. The staff were great and very friendly. Food is awesome at the restaurant. they have a small gift/convenient store. Location is great its in a nice wooden area and its pet friendly. while rooms are in several different buildings its nice not to be cramped into a single building. They have a golf course and another restaurant which are both seasonal of course but the golf course looks great and well maintained. the restaurant has a patio area if you like eatting outside.

Got a lovely welcome when I arrived here, the setting is beautiful, lots of greenery and water as I approached the front door. It was quiet when I was there but for me that was a plus. My room was right next to the heated pool with a big glass patio door with outside seating (it was cold though so couldn’t use it) the pool was nice but for me the hot tub (warmer than the pool) was the best part with powerful jets and plenty of space. Inside the room was well appointed and very comfortable. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m around there…

We stayed at Mt. Hood Oregon Resort and really enjoyed the experience. The surroundings are absolutely beautiful, with plenty of space to walk around and enjoy nature. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very cozy. The staff was amazing, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. It’s a great place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy the natural setting. We would definitely stay here again.

Normally, we drive 2 hours each way to go skiing on Mt Hood. This time, we decided to stay the night here for two consecutive ski days and it was well worth it! The rooms are comfortable and the pool & hot tub were amazing. We had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant and it was very good. Highly recommend to make your next ski trip more relaxing and enjoyable.

Becky is the best! She was working front counter when my girlfriend and I were checking in. She helped us when we had some questions and gave us some expert advice on a walking trail near our room. Becky is the reason we will be coming back! It was a breath of fresh air to have such genuine customer service! BECKY!!!!

Events were terrible. Meal was okay for the New Years, one of the courses were so bad that they gave us $25 off our $95 meal, which is great. Pool is heated but hot tub is tiny and the jets blow the water out of the hot tub. Rooms are so dark I'm expecting a DnD party to come through on their dungeon crawl. My chair was also ripped in the middle. Beds are kinda hard. Spa is moved and wayyy too expensive. There's supposed to be a massage called the "Mount Hood Rejuvenation" for new people, on the Spa website it has one price, when you go to the booking site, it's twice as expensive. Gym is clo…

I am new to this review thing, but really enjoyed our experience so wanted to share! This was our first time in Oregon and we stayed in an Airbnb, and wow, what a beautiful place it is. We decided we wanted a nice meal on our last night so we found what seemed like the nicest restaurant open on a Monday. The hotel lobby looked so nice with all the Christmas decorations, giving the whole place a cozy, festive vibe. Our server, Laura, was amazing! We were visiting the area for the holiday and decided to stop in at Altitude for breakfast. Our server, Laura, was excellent and gave us great information about everything happening at the resort over the weekend. We enjoyed our breakfast so much that we came back for the Christmas Bazaar. The restaurant is very cute, nicely decorated, and was exactly what we were looking for to kick off our Christmas season. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the area

We live less than 2 miles from here, but had to evacuate due to a landslide. They gave us an unbelievable rate of”good neighbor rate, since we had to evacuate. And the encouraged us to come earlier than normal check in time if we needed to! What a great room! Super clean and comfy, regular refrigerator, generous bed side tables and reading lamps on both sides! Easy wi-fi, major discount for breakfast in the restaurant. Front and back entrance, doggy stick library and poop bags to-boot!

This place has changed dramatically! It is now owned by Best Western. Water running out of the bathroom tap was pure rust for about 1 minute. The toilet had filth water level rings. Just nasty! The outer property is no longer cared for. There was a time when it was well groomed and cared for nicely! Rain gutters full and water running down everywhere. Mold on the roof and sides. Come on, folks!! You can do better!

Great breakfast spot! Laura, our server, was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. The sunrise burritos were delicious and filling, definitely the highlight of the meal. We were staying nearby rather than at the hotel, but after this visit we’ll be coming back to try the hotel as well. Would happily return for breakfast again.

Absolutely loved our stay on the property. We felt welcomed at every part of our visit in late August. Our original booking had been oversold, so we were upgraded to a villa and were wow'd by the whole experience. The only honest suggestion I could offer to the resort is to have someone attentive to the dining area during service, at least with more coffee or water if servers are really busy. Or make a carafe available table side for 2nd cups if it is anticipated the table will want more and the floor is busy. Thanks for listening!
