Th Dalles Country Club is in EXCELLENT shape and is open to the PUBLIC. Very welcoming and a beautiful course in the Columbia River Gorge!

This is a really nice course especially during the spring and early summer when everything is green and growing and flowering. Can be windy at times but that's part of what happens in the Columbia gorge. Nice course layout that is challenging and rewarding. Very friendly staff and a nice pro shop.

Played for the first time last night and really liked it. The course is in great shape and the wind wasn't a factor because of how the course is set up and protected. Next time I'll know better what side of the fairway I should be on, if I'm lucky enough to hit where I'm aiming. Also, I ran into a few members on the course and they were super nice and helpful. I'll be back.

Ross is very helpful and friendly. He runs a tight ship, everything is ready to go as expected. I recently had new grips put on all my clubs. He was able to get them installed professionally and in a timely manner. He even got them on with short notice before my next tee time! I am happy this is my home course and feel like I am family everytime I am here. Big props to Ross for keeping the course running smoothly, give the man a raise!

Great corse in The Gorge, located on the west side of The Dalles. Beautiful trees and fairways. The 9th hole over the pond is pretty cool. You do play the second nine from different tee locations on the first nine holes, but interesting. Guests can play certain times of the year. Fantastic value if you join the membership. My wife and I pay $188 month for unlimited play plus we went a cart when needed. Clubhouse has great food and drinks at very good prices.

Do not golf here. All dead grass with no maintenance on any fairways. The greens are awful. It seems like they don’t perform any maintenance on the course at all. I can’t believe they charge 50 bucks to golf here. My group didn’t even finish we were so dissatisfied with the quality of the course. Again, do not golf here

The course is amazing; in early and mid-summer. Greens are consistant even thought they move the pins regularly to keep the game alive and that short game gets a bit more practice time in. The Pro keeps tee times simple and conveinant. They have fully taken new ignituative and really put their ducks in a row. They have restructured their management and has been nothing but improvements. The restaurant or the 19th hole if you will. Is unexplainable. It's homey but elegant, and the food is to die for. The cook is un-stumpable and never ceases to amaze me. The service is quick and is always pres…

It seems they should stick to burgers etc. I unfortunately had the fettuccine & it had raw chunks of garlic in it & wasn't seasoned. Our waitress was very sweet though. I won't be back!

Update: The facility is open to the public these days including the restaurant in the clubhouse. Great place, nice folks, good layout. Can be a bit challenging in the often blasting winds, but that's golf!

I was very disappointed in the condition of the grounds and maintenance. Could be a beautiful course with a little TLC!
