Encinitas Ranch Golf Course

Gorgeous Ocean Views and immaculate greens! This course is run very strictly, each minute accounted for, and structure playing a very large part in keeping this course operating at the level players come to expect. Players can walk this course, although we chose a cart to enjoy the epic views. There is a very nice driving range, and a wonderful pro shop and bar/restaurant. Be aware the course is run like clockwork! We would definitely come back!

What an awesome course! I came to San Diego for a 3 day golf trip and this was my favorite course that we played. The course was in amazing shape and the views of the ocean were beautiful. I definitely would play here again when I’m back in the area.

First time playing here and was one of the best twilight rounds I’ve ever played. Fun course and all the staff around the course is very friendly. Can’t wait to come back.

In north San Diego up in Encinitas this course is on the easier side with wide open fairways that let you stay in bounds if you miss hit your drive but the greens can actually be a hit tough in an enjoyable way. Course was in great shape and they’ve got a great driving range as well as putting greens. Hardest thing on this course is to get a good tee time because they have kept pricing reasonable even though their competitors in Orange County and San Diego doubled their pricing in the pandemic, which was a pleasant surprise. There were great views from a few holes. The golf course is well maintained and high up, hilly. There were some big slopes on fairway as well. They charge the golf cart per person not per cart

Course was absolutely stunning and in excellent condition. Pretty forgiving with open fairways on most holes. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice course to play in San Diego without paying Torrey rates. Paid $95 w/ a cart

Encinitas Ranch Golf Course is a great spot for a round of golf, especially with its coastal vibe and those ocean views sneaking in on a few holes. The layout is super friendly—wide fairways give you some breathing room, but the greens make sure you stay sharp. It’s always in great shape, and the pace is nice and laid-back, perfect for enjoying the California sunshine. Plus, it’s just a fun course whether you’re out for a casual game or something more competitive.

Had the opportunity to play here not too long ago, this course is absolutely gorgeous nice and open too, the driving range is nice, the greens are very well maintained. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. Recommend playing here if you love to golf.

2nd best public course in all of San Diego (behind the PGA course of Torrey Pines). Beautiful view and well maintained. Fun layout that can test you but is very approachable. Opportunities to shoot low and good pace of play.

Great people and a beautiful course. The greens overall were in pretty good shape. Many had way too many unrepaired divots! Twice in my round landed in divots and cost a couple extra strokes. Always enjoy this course and its beautiful views!

Came here for lunch and got the turkey club which was suggested to me. The sandwich was good and on chibatta bread. Easy and simple meal, came out quick. Everyone I talked to was very nice and was great service I came back for sunset and a drink and it was really beautiful.
