What People Say

In summary

Entwood Golf Course is appreciated by some for its affordability, friendly staff, and challenging layout, particularly for beginners and those who enjoy a casual round. However, many visitors have expressed concerns about the course's maintenance, citing issues with the condition of the fairways, greens, and tee boxes, as well as problems with wet and rough terrain. While some find it a fun local spot, others feel it requires significant improvements to meet standard expectations.

I wished I would have read some of the reviews before I golfed here. Paid $42 to play 18, which I thought was a solid deal. I didn't have a clue what I was about to get into. As soon as I went to Tee off of hole number 1, I knew I just donated my money for some ugly golf. I couldn't find grass to tee off from on most holes, rocks and dirt in the tee boxes. The fairways were rough, the greens were slow. A very rough course that needs a whole new makeover. Some of the other reviews I see the owners son responds and they must not have a clue what a nice course actually is. Go to Cadott, or Ladysm…

This is one of my favorite 9 hole courses. Shot placement is more important than distance here. The small greens and tree lined fairways can make you pay. The course is usually in great shape and well maintained. This season however has been extremely wet and there are more ruts and damp areas than normal. The course is still easily playable you just need to be careful driving the cart. Prices are very good especially if you take advantage of their weekday deals, including one for all day golf.

If you've ever played golf, stay away from here. The "fairways" are really just rough, the greens are TINY, and the tee boxes are dirt. I've never played such an awful course. The people leaving good reviews must have never played a real course. STAY AWAY.

If you know anything about golf, DO NOT COME HERE. The course is so underkept, you’re better off playing in the woods. Carts are all incredibly dirty, and owner/bartenders had an awful attitude too. No wonder it’s only $35 for 18 holes! Very dissatisfied.

Fairways are a bit more like rough than an actual fairway, but I hit the ball better out of the rough so that's not really a complaint. Woman working the bar was friendly and helpful. Course is more difficult than it appears on the surface. We'll be back.

This course needs some work. When I played it, it was very wet from the heavy rains and course needs work right now but this was a little extreme for me; especially getting the cart stuck in mud. Tree roots and a fairway had rocks in the middle of in it. I was also hoping their signature par 5 hole would've been better than it was.

Sad how the course deteriorated. The fairway isn't mowed and over half of it burnt. Afraid to ruin my clubs, ground so hard and even had rocks throughout what they call a fairway. Needs a lot of work. We will not return.

Such a great layout, too bad it's not kept up as good. Needs some water on the tee boxes for sure and possibly on the fairways. Set the greens mower down a notch too.

Poorly maintained greens and tee boxes. Friendly staff. Inexpressive. This is a course to be avoided unless you are a beginner golfer.

The courses greens were horrible my ball would bounce from the bumps. Fairways were like roughs, the watered the green while I was playing and their ponds look like swamps and it’s disgusting.

Was quite rainy the last week or so and the morning of. Lots of streams across the course, but fun to play course regardless!
