Sunset View Country Club

Unique setup with an ok course. Owners were great and the clubhouse was nothing fancy....uniwue to have an ice cream shop. The course was ok where some Fairways and teeboxes were rough in spots being repaired but the rest was ok. Course layout had a many turns and positional shots so it wasn't an easy course. Greens rolled quick and overall were ok. Rates were maybe a touch high for this course. Overall it was a good time. What the course didn't have that the connected bar and campground provided the rest.

9 hole course that's fun yet still challenging, super friendly owners, fee's are extremely reasonable and really good ice cream!

Love this place Pat and Sue really have it going on over in Chetek at their course. Its a beatiful long 9 holes that will give you a run for your money! While its a challenging course the staff will make you feel right at home! Definitely will be going back!

The older woman answering phones today (8-16-24) around 1:30 earned herself a ZERO for customer service. My spouse made a tee time for Sunday 9:30 a.m. He was asked if using “that golf card.” When he replied “Yes,” he was told “Well, you KNOW, THAT’S our PRIME golf time!” He was taken aback as she continued, “It just so happens we’re not busy at that time.” (So much for her “prime time” claim. I wonder what their slow time represents.) So be aware, it’s clear anyone who purchased the Leader Telegram Golf Card, which has no time restrictions, is considered second class here.

Fun course! Very family friendly and incredible owners. Would come back a million times!

I always enjoy playing this course. The clubhouse has cold beer (bucket specials!) and other snacks/drinks, and is a cozy place to have a beer and hang out after a round. The staff is warm and friendly. The course is always well maintained. Rates are cheap. Rental clubs are available. Simply a great way to spend a few hours, whether escaping work or enjoying your vacation. The par 4's are satisfying and have fun tee shots and approachable but challenging greens. This is a great Par 35 ; 9 hole golf course. You will feel challenged on all greens. I have golfed Sioux Creek and find this course more challenging and much more scenic. The owners are very friendly and accommodating.

Great nine hole course, well taken care of for the end of the season! Spent a fall morning here with my husband for our anniversary getaway. Only thing better would have been if we were better golfers!

Very nice views. 9 hole course with a variety of par levels. Course was very bumpy. Greens maintained. Lots of nice flower gardens and green areas throughout. Love the chocolate shoppe ice cream in the clubhouse

Terrible place to golf! Huge areas of no grass & mud holes. Lost one ball in a big hole surrounding the sprinkler that was filled with water with exposed electrical wires. If the fairway & greens weren’t bad enough they set tee times 5 minutes apart & so we were waiting to tee at every whole & when we would tee the next people behind us would tee off before we even hit the ball a 2nd time. There was no pass through because there was people immediately behind them! We were nearly hit numerous times! NOT ENJOYABLE AT ALL!! I complained to owner & she didn’t seem to care! Won’t be going back!

Beautiful place clean and great campground we love here and pat and Sue are amazing !!!!
