We can't say enough good things about the team at Evergreen Golf Course. Our group showed up with more than 20 guys for a bachelor party, all decked out in loud, matching Hawaiian shirts—and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing day. Organizing a group that size is no easy task, but Evergreen handled it with total professionalism and a great sense of humor. If you’re close to Westport drop in for a golf game, or enjoy a meal at the clubhouse taking in the amazing views of Wolfe Lake. The staff are friendly and sometimes you’ve got to go ‘where everybody knows your name’. There is nothing more beautiful than watching the sun rise and set through the willow trees at the 3rd hole. That said, sitting on the clubhouse patio overlooking the 9th hole you’ll know why Evergreen is our happy place - it’s truly magical and definitely worth a visit!

This is a lovely golf course. The greens and tee boxes were well watered. There were almost no bugs on the course, which if your from the area you will know they can be pretty terrible in some spots. The resturant has good food. A good view of Wolfe lake. To top it off they have a small but good selection of beer on tap. If you are looking for a nice afternoon gold game followed by a good meal, this is the place to go.

Golf course is nice, customer service lacking. Came here for 9 holes yesterday which took over 3 hours to complete from our scheduled tee time. We understand it’s a long weekend but we were disappointed by the major delays and slowdown that we experienced, especially after learning that a large group of guys ahead of us (9 people) didn’t book in a tee time and the staff had slotted them in. After speaking to some staff about our frustration after we played, the two ladies at the front/cash were a bit rude, only responding with “it’s a long weekend”, and not empathetic or apologetic to our expe…

Wonderful September late afternoon of golf followed by an ice cold beer and fish& chips on the deck overlooking Wolf Lake! A perfect Friday evening!

Took me and our 3 threesome 6 hours to play 18. Had to wait 45 minutes on the tee box to tee off for our second 9. Guy in the pro shop treated us like crap. Threatened to kick us out for teeing off at our 10:00 am tee time instead of 11:25 (when we actually teed off). At least it was cheap, like the service...

Wonderful 9 hole course, nestled in the heart of cottage country. Pleasantly surprised how nice the course and amenities are. A hidden gem and worth the drive.

Great shape! Considering the extreme drought, the course is beautiful. Challenging layout. Lots of fun.

We didn’t get a chance to golf today, but we stopped in for lunch while in the area—and I’m so glad we did! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious and came out so fast. Such a lovely spot—can’t wait to come back for a full day on the course next time!

Wow. What a fantastic experience. The staff was so accommodating. The food was fabulous. Fresh and hot. The course is in great shape. This is a gem of a course. It was a challenging course and the greens were fast and perfect. All around a great day. Worth the drive to Westport. The owner is so welcoming. ( buy the sweatshirt. You won’t be disappointed !)

Just finished my second year of Men's Night at the course. Always a great time with good food, great prizes and a wonderful group. This course is consistently well maintained, interesting to play and the staff is always friendly and makes you feel at home. I always enjoy playing here and look forward to it every time.
