Fairways of Halfmoon

You Won’t find better people or a better vibe at any golf course in the northway corridor. Course is all ways immaculate and fairly priced. The People are super friendly and over accommodating. You feel like a member without being in a stuffy country club. The Restaurant is the best thing Mechanicville has going for it. Bev Cart and rangers are all ways smiling and helpful. The Best part of my week is visiting here.

Recently had a holiday party with over 100 people at this establishment. First the good: The waitstaff and bartenders were very pleasant and attentive. The cocktails served at the bar were quite tasty and we had a nice time conversing over drinks The hall was clean and nicely decorated The Bad: My wife and I arrived about midway through the cocktail hour. This place is quite elegant for a Golf Course Clubhouse. I couldn't give it 5 stars because I don't drink. I found the brewery entertaining. It's a destination if you like beer or want to see a show. The food was fantastic and the Servers are attentive!

My cousin held her baby shower here and I love this location. The view is great. Lovely service, the ladies were fantastic and accommodating. The food was delicious. We were allowed to bring our own decor and desserts.

In great shape as of September. Narrow, your will likely loose a couple balls... In 2021 they cut down a lot of trees and brush, so that helps. Still in great shape. Fast greens... pretend you are on tour... Brew pub is awesome. Plan on a quality beer after playing. Played there 10/24/25 and the weather was very poor. The two of us decided to try 9 holes instead of the 18 we booked. They charged us $40 for 9 and cart. We asked how much if we decided to play the other 9 and was told it would be another $20 each. Stopped in to pay, after we played the 18 and the women insisted (!) it was $23 because of weekend rates. We really didn’t have to stop in, there was nobody there. They were also aerating the fairways making them nasty to play. Usually, courses offer a discount when they aerate, but we didn’t ask for that. They got their $6 but at a loss of future…

Had a great time with a very talented dueling pianos show.. food was excellent at the buffet and the service staff friendly organized and efficient

An amazing public 18 hole golf course with a great layout/design! Always in great condition. It is a long course but has different options for tee boxes. Also has a beautiful clubhouse/restaurant , and brewery that overlooks the course. Is big enough to host weddings and parties.

I took my family here for the steak special and we all got terrible food poisoning for 3 days straight. Worst experience of my life, avoid at all costs. Don't be fooled by the upscale appearance

I'm not sure why the last review was so bad. This course was in very good condition, and for the price, offers exceptional value. We are in Saratoga for the weekend and we had two groups go out. Play wasn't exactly fast, but I expect a 5 hr round on a Friday. I would 100% play this again for the cost.

Nice course, Hank Hudson, their new pub, is very good. Excellent beer, very good pizza and wings. Their lemon pepper dry rub wings put them as best in the area contender.

The Fairways of Halfmoon is the perfect wedding venue in every way. Sue is incredible and made the planning process easy and fun. She was open to all of our crazy ideas and helped make our dream wedding a reality. The food is delicious; we had the opportunity to go to a few tastings before our wedding, which helped us decide which hors d'oeuvres to serve during cocktail hour. We were able to have cocktail hour in the Club House, which made the reception in the Banquet Hall feel even more special.
