Played 9 holes last Tuesday..what a great experience. It felt like we were at a country club. The greens fee is very reasonable..and the course is amazing. I traveled from Buffalo and picked this course. Then the lunch was amazing. I can't wait to return.

Don’t spend the $85.00. Greens are in rough shape. Cartpaths are speed bumps. Make the 30 minute drive and spend $75 to play highland in queensbury. This place should be ashamed of charging this much for a less than average course.

I've been here several times before but only played the front 9. Today tried the back 9. If you want not only a golfing challenge but also a golf cart driving challenge check it out. Rolling hills and a few giant gaps connected by winding paths through the forest. Most holes are long but not crazy (300-400 yards). Challenging, but fair. And rewarding when you hit some good shots. Renovations are ongoing so it was strange to hit a few shots from loose dirt but surprisingly not difficult. Can't wait to see it when its done! The pricing is fair, 20 dollars with cart (maybe discounted because its…

Beautiful golf course views. The course is hilly, front nine has quirky holes, shorter par 4 dog legs where you mostly have to hit narrow landing areas in the fairway, using irons off the tee. Back 9 is mostly more traditional layout, longer par 4s. Some very nice elevated tee par 3s. Greens and tee boxes were in great shape today.

Really like this different, challenging, hilly course. New bar/ restaurant with huge patio overlooking the course is beautiful. They have cut downlots of trees this last year. So it's opened up a little bit. But still bring extra balls...

I have been member of Saratoga Lake Golf club for many years. I love the course and especially how well you are treated by the staff. A little over a week ago I strained my back and I let them know that's why I hadn't been playing. I finally decided to try walking nine holes on Saturday and asked the club pro-Jeff if he knew anything about the strained backs. He offered to send someone out to help me if I got in trouble on the golf course. I thought that was really nice. Today I went back there took my clubs out of the car., The starter that was on-John Walked up the hill to the parking lot an…

I discovered this Golf CLub late in the season after they announced a great Monday / Tuesday golf and buggy deal. The course is excellent, the carts are clean and the Starter / Marshall does a great job of welcoming and controlling speed of play. The greens are amazing and give you a good target to aim at and with multi level and some great slopes they present a good challenge. The course is interesting and requires some thoughtfulness in club selection which is great and means you can't just grip it and rip it. No real feedback or thoughts on how the club can improve and get better as it is p…

I’ll keep it simple. Took over 5 hours to play. Was behind a 4 sum that couldn’t play for crap and then complained to the ranger about us for hitting into them. The old guys at the front were useless too. Only good thing about the course was they had some alcohol but even that was eh. If you’re looking for a slow round and rude people, this is the course for you

Went to the Hideaway restaurant that is open to the public. Absolutely definitely worth going to try even just once. They make all of their salad dressings! That tells you the detail they put into their food. I got the lobster ravioli. Superb. My husband chicken parm. Both homemade pasta! The sun setting also made the night even better. Not to mention the prices are extremely reasonable! Will definitely be going back. Plus if you loved the food......you can buy the kitchen staff a round of drinks for 6 bucks!!!!! That's awesome.

Challenging course. Almost all the holes are uphill. Bunkers could be deeper to give it a more astheticly appealing appearance. Not recommended for a beginner or someone who has trouble hitting long distances. Greens are fast, fairways in good shape.

I’m not from the area, but I travel here for work at least four times a year, and this place consistently exceeds my expectations. The course is quite challenging, but the breathtaking view makes it all worth it. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the restaurant offers delicious food.

Course gears more towards holding tournaments and not golf play. Have played with a few members over the years and said it's membership is cheaper but can not golf many times due to tournaments. I pre-purchase some t-times and can not use them. Very disappointing. All they say is sorry when you call. Sorry I pre-purchase nonusabke times too.
