Having recently played Saratoga National Golf Club, it stands out as one of New York’s premier public-access courses. Designed by Roger Rulewich and opened in 2001, the club consistently earns praise for its conditioning, layout, and overall experience. Course Layout & Design The par 72 stretches over 7,200 yards from the championship tees, with a demanding slope rating. Water is a defining feature, especially on the back nine, where strategic shot-making is essential. The par-3 15th hole requires a full carry over water to a protected green, rewarding precision. Each hole offers unique varie…

As a destination wedding photographer I love capturing weddings at the Saratoga National Golf Club wedding venue in upstate New York. The ceremony site by the reflecting pool is beautiful and allows for seamless flow to cocktail hour on the outdoor patio. The tent for the reception is just as impressive. Spacious, with views of the golf course, and ideal for high-end celebrations, it offers the charm of an outdoor wedding without the hassle of the production of hosting a tented wedding reception. As a wedding photographer, I especially appreciate how the space flows for guests and allows for a…

Very well maintained course and very challenging with lots of water. If you hit your ball off the fairway don't even bother looking for it due to the thick vegetation. Played back-to-back days, Friday morning was 15 minutes ahead of schedule, but the Saturday round took nearly 6 hours.

Played here on 8/31/2025. Was most definitely a tough course to play. Also made it more difficult because it was raining almost the entire time. But our group made due. It was definitely fun. Love the layout of the whole course in particular. Pro shop was amazing and the food was top notch. Would play here again.

Great place for 18... from starting at the practice range, then going to the first tee, everything is in order to having a great round of golf. Course is awesome and can't wait to go back and play.

Amazing golf course and restaurant! However, I often don’t want to commit to play other than just to practice on the driving range, unfortunately they don’t offer just driving range.

This review is for the events team at Saratoga National. My husband and I had our wedding reception at the National and the team did an absolutely amazing job! We had an incredibly positive experience working with Eliyana and Echo leading up to our big day and they did everything to make sure our wedding reception was perfect. They were both wonderful with communicating promptly, answering any questions and meeting as many times as we needed. We chose the tent for our reception and it was stunning! Echo and Eliyana also helped us bring our vision to life and had A lot of great advice and insig…

Saratoga National has always been overpriced, but this summer they took it a step further and went to “dynamic pricing”. I spoke to someone in the clubhouse who explained to me that on “busier days” they will charge more than what their website lists as greens fees for that day. Um, what? Their rates on the site already adjust by season and then peak times of day. But now they are charging more during a “busier day”. That makes zero sense. There are a defined number of tee times in a day…it’s not like demand goes up and more tee times can be created. I made a teatime for a Saturday in late Oct…

SOOOOO OVER PRICED & OVER RATED Are group are all single digit handicappers. SNGC is the only place we could get out and I now know why. $295 per golfer is a joke for this place. TRUE golfers know what a $295 golf course looks like, AND THIS IS NOT IT
