In summary

McGregor Links Country Club is appreciated for its historic charm, well-maintained greens, and scenic layout that offers a challenging yet enjoyable golfing experience. Visitors commend the friendly and attentive staff, as well as the quality of the food and amenities, including the bar and restaurant. However, some guests feel the course is overpriced for its condition, noting issues with cart paths, tee boxes, and the need for better maintenance in certain areas.

Were foodies so we expect yum! Unless its obvious we wouldnt! We got take out for 4 and we were excited for the Irish Nochos - we love them and now they would b available close to us- BUT- BIG DISSAPPOINTMENT- way to salty, fake canned cheese- small strings of corned beef. Oh Well!

Hundred years old and still very cool. Greens are in very good condition. Little pricey for the public courses in this area. Nice electric carts. No GPS though. Great bar and restaurant with view out front and patio overlooking 18 green.

Great Devereaux Emmett track just outside Saratoga. Great terrain for golf. Houses have left their mark but the course is still well worth a round or two.

Special thanks to the charming Courtney and the entire crew at McGregor Links Country Club for their efforts with the reception/funeral meal they provided our rather large gathering. The food was excellent and the service equally so.The friendly and capable staff is to be commended for making it a pleasant and comforting experience.

Didn't golf there, not a fan of the sport, but had to opportunity to dine there with my family and it was fantastic. Our dedicated server, Brandy, was absolutely fantastic. Friendly and attentive! Food was on point and the kitchen staff regularly checked in with us to ask how our meals were. A+ all around!

Paid $90 for 18 and a cart, VERY OVERPRICED. You would think a score card with a course map would at least be provided rather than a loose leaf cut piece of paper that was photocopied. Cart paths were rough and beyond dusty, should be paved for this price. Tee boxes were 50/50 at best, some under construction. No yardage markers anywhere on the course which made it difficult with no course map and lots of blind spots, especially when there is houses everywhere that were in danger of being hit. Bunkers were like concrete. Greens were nice but too many other options of much cheaper and nicer pla…

Played in the Flutters of Hope pickleball tournament so only rating the courts. The 6 dedicated pickleball courts were in great condition. The 2 tennis/pickleball were not good but only due to sum lifting in the court and the extra lines get confusing.

On holiday in Saratoga Springs from Scotland. Absolutely loved this course. 18 individually styled holes, most with Scottish names and all with the same Scottish characteristics. Rolling fairways and long whispy rough. A very fair playable course with stunning par 3’s and testing par 5’s that offer rewards for the thinking golfer.

Tremendous golf course. One of the classic 518 links courses. Historic. Extremely well maintained. Challenging. You have to think with every shot, plan where your ball lands. You will use every club in your bag.

Great Condition! Tough finish, Great Pro Shop that carries a lot of great clothing lines. Range sucks, but the course makes up for it! Great snack shack at the turn!

Played the front nine; I’m giving four stars because the staff and members were very warm and friendly, though for the $$$$$ being charged, the property needs work. The tee boxes were a bit rough, crabgrass was noted in some of the fairways, the rough had weeds and wasn’t plush, the greens were a bit beat up on some holes, and the dirt cart path had washed out areas in a lot of places.
