Feather River Park Resort is cherished by many for its rustic charm, scenic mountain setting, and family-friendly atmosphere, with visitors often enjoying the golf course and proximity to outdoor activities. However, some guests have expressed concerns about the condition and cleanliness of the cabins, noting issues such as rodent presence and outdated facilities. While the resort offers a peaceful retreat from technology, it may not meet the expectations of those seeking modern amenities and luxury accommodations.

I have been coming to Feather River Park Resort since I was a 1 year old, I have only skipped a few years when living out of state. The tradition started with my grandparents 50 years ago. So it comes with a heavy heart that I say, after leaving a day early, with my wife and 7 month old that the cabin conditions have become deplorable. We started considering leaving on Tuesday after arriving on Saturday. Before the rodent issue…The cabin was slanted, floors filthy, fireplace full of half burnt wood and soot. The refrigerator blocked a quarter of the door passage, had visible chewed marks in th…

This would be negative stars, but I had to chose 1 star. Our cabin was completely unlevel, it was like walking up and down a hill going from room to room. The fridge didn’t fit in its space and didn’t have any fixtures for the door, so we couldn’t store anything in it. There were mice droppings EVERYWHERE and we saw more than 2 mice in the kitchen. There was an old trap in the kitchen that the front desk said was one of the bad ones so they dropped off a few more of the snap type traps for us to set up. One mouse got caught that way. Then we saw a mouse climb into a dresser drawer at night whi…

ARCHAIC! Refused to take my full cash payment when I offered it up front. Staff had no idea what they were doing and dragged my sister into it instead of dealing with me directly. Outdated systems, no clear payment info, and zero professionalism. Never again.

This place is amazing. My family has been coming here for over 20 years. Love the golf, its a unique course thats for sure, always fun. Cabins are great, love being able to get away from it all, no TVs or phones, etc. So much to do in the area, fishing, tubing, 18 holes courses, hiking, the list goes on. I look forward to coming to FRPR every year, I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great relaxing vacation.

Nice rooms but a little over priced. Staff could be a little more helpful and could at least speak English. The office did go out of their way to accommodate me even though I did have to swap rooms. Over all I really can't complain this is a nice resort for being out in the boonies.

45 years in cabin 27. Yay. My kids always loved it. How many grown kids want to vacation with their mother. They grew up coming here and still love it. Now grandkids are enjoying it also.

4/5 so people looking for a "5 star" experience, don't get mislead. It is rustic... cabins, no TV,, poor internet and cell coverage, but for those who want to "unhook" it is 5/5...Very fun for multi family gathering! We've been going 40 years. Love the setting, love the pple.

My family have been going here for over 50 years - since my mom's mom found an ad for it in a magazine and figured the golf course would provide an excellent excuse to pull my grandpa away from the office for a week with the fam ;) Good choice grandma! Now, generations later, it's still one of (if not my #1) favorite trip of the year. Just being up in the mountains, away from technology is so peaceful that it leaves you wondering why you even bother with the internet in the first place.

We come here every year for a week with our Families. It's like a family reunion for us, but the best place to come and enjoy nature, swimming, hiking, biking, golf and a walk to town to support the Local Business.
