Coyote Moon Golf Course is absolutely stunning . The greens are fast and challenging, which really tests your short game. There’s a lot of tree and water hazards, so bring your fairway finder. The only downside was the pace of play, which ran a bit slow during my round, but everyone was friendly and let me play through when asked. Overall, an excellent course I’d gladly play again.

Great, great course! Newly re-opened so the greens were slow, but rolled well. Amazing elevation changes and doglegs. You have to get the tee shot in the fairway. The course in terrific shape. A must play!

Stunning!!! We played five different courses in the area, and this one was by far our favorite!! Beautiful scenery, nice staff, and smooth greens.

We enjoyed our first time at Coyote Moon. The weather was perfect and all of the staff were very welcoming. The course was in great shape, lush and not a bad lie was found. The greens were fast and true. Coyote is beautiful and a real joy. Can’t wait to get another crack at it .

This is a must play in the Lake Tahoe area. If I was to play one course in the area it would be Coyote Moon. The other more notable course that sits on the “edge of the woods” on Lake Tahoe(not to name names) is half the course for twice the price. Course is cut through the canyons with Incredible views, elevation changes most every hole. Will definitely be back. The 10 round deal for $1000+ is a no brainer.

Stunning course. If it had a view of Lake Tahoe it would be rated top 100 in the country. Love Edgewood Golf Course but Coyote is a better course

Coyote Moon, in general, is in excellent condition, although as of 6/25, a few of the greens are still recovering from winter. To escape the heat of the valley, I will be enjoying many rounds at Coyote this summer. In addition, the staff is friendly and helpful. An excellent golf experience.

If you are in the Truckee/Northshore area, Coyote Moon is a must. One of the best Public Golf Courses I have every played. Beautiful views, well kept facilities, manicured greens and the fresh air of the great out doors. Hole 13 is one you will never forget and the ball absolutely flies at this elevation. Friendly staff, bag drop, and fully stocked carts.

Okay. This is like playing a video game. Golf courses in the real world don’t look like this. Check out the photos if you’re dubious. Easily the most beautiful course I’ve ever played that wasn’t beside the ocean and even then….just a magical place. If that wasn’t enough, the staff was a joy! The pros, the bartender, the starter…they were all wonderful. People at places like this are typically full of themselves but not here. Even the group in front of us was a joy. We also saw two bucks dining on the fringe around the 14th green. And I hit a 202-yard 9-iron on the famous 13th. My wife nearl…

Great track. Holes have lots of elevation. Challenging, narrow at times fairways. No houses on course, which is nice. Great condition. Pace of play was a challenge. 5 hours to play 18. Waited on many holes. Stacked up 3-4 groups deep on 13.

I had been looking forward to playing here for a long time. One of those courses you have to save up for at $195 rack rate ($175 NCGA rate) but was told it was worth it. The layout is 5 stars no doubt. Beautiful tree lined fairways throughout with fun shotmaking value. However, I get to the first hole and the starter says 7 of our greens never recovered from the snow and are unplayable... Is that their fault? Of course not, However, we didn't get an email, there is nothing on the website, and the first time we hear of it is at the first hole. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. N…
