My wife and I recently booked adjoining rooms at the Everline resort & Spa for a four day ski vacation. We received accommodation in rooms 622 and 624. We found the rooms to be very comfortable as well as spacious enough to accommodate our family. The beds/pillows were very comfortable enabling us to all sleep well. These particular rooms offered a spectacular view of the mountain range. Additionally, having access to a mini kitchen allowed us to prepare our own meals whenever we desired. Everline Resort was our first mountain stay out of 8 in our 6 week road trip. Everline did not disappoint! Right from the bell hops, check in, room, amenities, shuttle, etc. There were a couple of bell hops but Tim stood out as a happy, friendly & helpful dude. During my recent vacation, I had high expectations of enjoying a luxurious resort-style experience. However, my expectations were met with disappointment. Upon checking in, I was immediately struck by the disorganized and cluttered appearance of the property, coupled with the absence of staff. We just spent a long weekend at Everline Resort & Spa and had an incredible time! Check-in was quick and seamless, and our room was clean and comfortable. After reading some rough reviews before our trip, I looked around with a sharp eye and was pleasantly surprised! Dining at Sandy’s was a quick easy way to feed the family. The atmosphere was excellent. The lobby and outdoor decorations were beautiful, and the surrounding scenery was truly beautiful. However, the room condition was disappointing. Perhaps due to its age, it was dusty and the interior was a bit worn. A 15-minute drive toward Tahoe City leads to a Safeway and several restaurants. I remember the ice rink renting skates for an hour—$20 for children and $35 for adults. It operates as a golf course in the summer, making it a great walking path. It was also quiet. It's a bit pricey, but I would definitely return.

We had a deeply disturbing experience at this hotel. After checking into our room, we discovered rodent feces underneath the bed — an area that had clearly not been cleaned by housekeeping. Had we not looked under the bed ourselves, we would have unknowingly slept in a room exposed to serious health hazards. Loved the property! The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed dining with our three sons at the Six Peaks Grille. The restaurant is under new management. The hostess greeted us warmly, engaged with us throughout the meal and our server was knowledgeable and attentive to our dining needs. The cauliflower was amazing and the pork chop was seasoned perfectly! The manager made sure that our experience was exceptional, and it was!

I was looking for a high end spot that would be close to the lifts / comfortable. Good food and amenities a plus. Everline was solidly "okay" but don't expect a Cliff Lodge (Snowbird) level experience even though it's more expensive, location is just not that great. 5/5 for location and views, 4/5 for rooms Came here for a work conference, and I could have happily spent the whole time in the lobby, just working next to the fireplace with views of the waterfall and mountains.
