Solid greens and open fairways. Greens keepers let us out with 1 bag for 2 people which was clutch. Nice restaurant people and good vibes all around. Cheapest balls were 8$ per 3 which was minor bs but aye great air quality and mediocre views made it worth while. All the love Northstar.

Since the first time I played this course, had to be in early 80's, it's hands down one of my favorite courses, I was a real 'duffer' back then, my golf game was high 90's, but I loved the challenge this course presents, especially the back 9 (Mountain side). It's always in excellent condition, it's scenic, a challenging but fair layout. I live @ South Lake Tahoe, but it's so worth the drive to go over there. I'm a Player's Club member @ Lake Tahoe G.C. @ So. Tahoe, I got down to low 80', even shot a 79 ONCE, now I'm 77, shoot mid 80's from the Senior tees, but I still have to play Northstar.

My favorite local Truckee/North Lake course just keeps getting better each year after rough couple years over COVID. Been playing here every other week and greens are rolling better than some of the $300+ round courses in the area. Love the full service staff and all around laid back atmosphere. A must if you're a local or coming up for the weekend. Keep up the great work Northstar!

Staff was very accommodating and friendly from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The cart personnel, grill staff, starter and shop staff were all great. However, my low rating comes from course conditions. I am new to the area and this is my first time playing Northstar. After reading other reviews and having played other courses in the area that are in great shape I just booked a tee time online. I did not think to call and ask about course conditions. Needless to say I was VERY disappointed as I made my way around Northstar. At least 2 temporary greens and most of the regular g…

The service at the course was excellent. The course layout & design is very good and I enjoyed walking the course. It was fun & challenging. The back nine had multiple dog legs and water on most of the holes.

We played the course July 20th. The staff always professional. The condition of the course is close to being non playable. Fairways aren’t bad. The greens so bad they had posted signs that read automatic 2 putts. Bunkers should be marked under repair. It’s my opinion in order to save the reputation of the Northstar complex management should suspend play until the course is repaired. Photo 1-bunker 2-tee box photo 3 green

The 1016 crew and I have been going to Northstar golf course for the last 10+ years, this is the place to be. They have everything, food, cart girls and fast greens. I’ll be going here for years to come.

We had an 8:30 tee time. Eat before you get there if you have an early ish tee time. No food or drinks available! Sounds like the food department shows up when they want? Front 9 is in good condition. Back 9 is lacking for sure. Bunkers are non existent. Pro shop staff and starter were great.

Great staff and cool Tahoe vibe. Course needs a little TLC in spots and tough layout on back 9. Played in 4 45 mins. Overall fun experience.

On July 19th 2024 we played NorthStar 18 holes. The LOCUSTS ARE HERE!! Beware of playing the front 9. The greens were so thick you could not putt. While teeing off locust were landing on our body.

I love this golf course. A hidden gem for sure. I especially love the back nine through the trees.
