In summary

Fire Ridge Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging layout, natural beauty, and well-maintained greens, with many visitors highlighting the friendly and attentive staff as a positive aspect of their experience. However, several guests express concerns about the condition of the bunkers and cart paths, as well as the pace of play, which some find to be slow. Additionally, the course's pricing is seen as high by some, given these maintenance issues.

They have practice facility. Range and putting green. There are practice bunkers but they’re poorly maintained. Bunkers on the course are stoney. Greens were in pretty good shape. There is drinking water on the course. Clubhouse is nice, and the staff are friendly. The low rating is for the price, too much by about $30 for what it is. The 18th hole is a ridiculous short par four with a tiny, slopey green and requires two excellent blind shots and some luck. Nice man in the pro shop charged me $12 for a bag of balls when there were free balls on the range.

The young men working there were so kind as a beginner golfer this past summer. Ryan in the pro shop was a charming and helpful young man. Their kindness made a positive impact on my foursome’s day, starting a perfect day on a wonderful course!

Really enjoy playing here. Fairways and Greens are kept up well. Love the terrain and the natural beauty. $65 on a Monday morning with cart is about what this course is worth IMO and that's what our group paid. The reason for the 4 star is that the bunkers are atrocious and many of the cart paths are beyond in need of repairs. Hopefully those are addressed at some point in the near future.

It’s not a bad course by any means. Fairways were is fantastic condition. Greens are decent, and roll true. The newly redone clubhouse is incredible. Where it’s lacking 5 stars is the price and pace of play. I don’t see it as an $80 course. The cart paths are horrible in many areas. Carts are older. There’s many courses around the MKE area that are $40-$60 that are in as good condition. The pace issues aren’t the worst, but should be dealt with better. 5.5 hours for 2 people for 18. There was a 4 some ahead of the threesome we were behind playing like they were on tour. Arguing over lies and r…

Just writing a review of the golf course because we didn't partake in any food options. Course was in very good condition with the greens playing kinda fast but true. Starter was very informative. I was visiting family so I had to rent clubs and they certainly weren't special - Strata clubs. Enjoyed the round.

Played out here a month ago and the course is in significantly better shape! The bunkers are being redone and were fantastic! Greens rolled fast and true!

Course in rough shape after 9” of rain last Saturday. Should be closed, as only 8 holes playable;10-16,8&9. Ground saturated and unstable in areas

Beautiful clubhouse staffed with friendly and attentive employees. Course in very good condition, although the sand in the bunkers is loaded with rocks, stones, pebbles, etc. Nice electric carts, smooth and quiet. But the asphalt cart paths are in terrible shape. Playability is good, challenging, with a number of blind shots (starting with the tee shot on #1). Greens have many subtle breaks but are fair and rolled true. It's a course you must play a few times to get the "lay of the land".

Had an opportunity to bring a friend here on Monday afternoon. I mean, if it’s 80°+ for the first time in June, how am I supposed to work, right? He was coming from Sheboygan and this was a great halfway point course to meet at. Tyler in the ProShop was extremely knowledgeable and honest. At first look, you see a clubhouse on the drive in reminiscent of a BlackWolf or LacLaBelle. The accolades of Finau’s course record, etc etc. He told me that the course is in need of some TLC, but a great track to work on your game. His descriptor is quite accurate. The tees, fairways, and bunkers are quite…

This place use to be amazing. We have so many fond family memories of their events, firework shows, the amazing staff and restaurant. Unfortunately, the course was bought out in 2024 from and out of state investor, and now all of locals no longer have a "go to" course, event space and Friday night Fish Fries at Flannerys. Such a shame. We miss it so much!

Course is in awful shape. Over grown weeds and plants, cart path looks like a war zone. Can’t play from bunkers. Food (brats) were burnt and bun was hard. For 84.00, not worth it at all. Use to be a very nice course, not anymore. One more thing, golf carts are in horrible condition, dirty and falling apart

Just a really rough day out there all around. Pace of play really horrible. 5.5-6 hour round. Cart girls were doing well. Our cart died on 13. I called the club house twice and waited 45 minutes to get a new cart. That was a tough look. Buffalo chicken wrap was decent.
