In summary

Florida Keys Country Club is appreciated for its friendly and accommodating staff, as well as its unique 9-hole layout that allows for an 18-hole experience by playing from different tees. Many visitors enjoy the course despite its ongoing renovations and acknowledge the challenges of maintaining it in the Keys' environment. However, some note that the course conditions, particularly the greens, could be improved, and there was an isolated report of a negative customer service experience.

Love the place it's small but worth it . They have a great 9 holes with option from teeing off from a different spot.So you get basically eighteen holes out of the nine holes. The staff was absolutely amazing , completely willing to accommodate. All in all this golf course is well worth the money and just a fun place to enjoy a day in the florida keys ! Maybe I'll see you out there 😉

The course was in fair condition. I give 4 stars because I fully understand there are renovations under way because of storm damage. The greens could use work. Random alternative grass patches made putts bounce a bit. Overall the the layout of the course was fun. We had a great round and the staff was amazing and friendly. As far as the fees go, they're on par with the location. Land costs a lot here so don't expect to play for $50. I would play here again and hopefully they'll have the course renovation and greens up to par next time.

While this course was under construction it was still a great time with my family. Stan the manager greeted us right when we walked in and helped us put are golf carts away once we were done.

All the negative reviews set my expectations low for the course. I was pleasantly surprised when I got out. Its playable. Some of the fairways have alot of dirt. If that bothers you, you can pick up and drop on grass. If you are in the keys and want to swing your clubs without paying $200, this is a good spot. Got paired with 3 guys all of whom were good company and we played 18 in 3.5 hrs.

The 9th hole is truly special, one of the best and most fun holes I’ve ever played. The general manager Stan was so nice and kind to my family. He explained why they only have 9 holes due to the back 9 being destroyed by a hurricane. For a 9 hole golf course it was very good. The ladies in the pro shop helped my mom and I find out which rate was the best for us. We went down to Key West Golf Club and the people were rude and snobby and the rates were expensive. If you’re trying to decide on which course to play, go to Florida Keys Country Club.

Great 9 hole course, with par 3, 4 and 5"5. Best shape for the conditions in the area, they have to deal with sea salt, strong winds, not sure how they can even grow grass. If you expecting pga course conditions, then don't go golfing on holidays in the Keys. Great job guys, I had a Great time.

We had a 8am tee time so had the greens all to ourselves. I've played a few courses with gators but this is the first with iguanas. Lots of beautiful landscape and coconut palms. You play the first nine twice which was fine with us. Greens were good for the most part. Watch out for the ants on the approach on the 3rd hole! We enjoyed our game and will definitely return when we're in the area again!

The friendliest staff out of any course I’ve ever been to! From the moment I stepped through the door they treated me like family. The course is under construction but the 9 holes that are available will definitely get the job done!

As a local golfer, I’ve seen Florida Keys Country Club make major strides in recent years. While the course is still a work in progress, the improvements have been noticeable and consistent. The staff is always friendly, welcoming and great to talk to, which makes every visit enjoyable. It’s encouraging to see the effort being put in, and I always enjoy my rounds here.

Stan the man!!! Me and my family were down in the keys for vacation and had a desire to play some golf. We rented clubs here and played 9 holes. This time right now the course is under construction so obviously it isn’t it tip top shape however our objective was to swing some clubs and get out to have fun and we were able to achieve all of that. When we walked into the club house Stan the manager came out and greeted us, the first thing I noticed was how social and welcoming he was. It was quite refreshing because most courses I go to the workers seem cold and don’t really talk much at all. We…

I had read all the bad reviews and although the course is in fact not in very good shape, it was good enough for a fun round of golf. Employees were really friendly and seem to be doing what they can to maintain the course in decent enough shape given its location.

The staff couldnt be nicer. Its a golf course in the keys, not Augusta National. One should know this before you play. Its a golf fix while youre in the keys. So dont get it twisted. We had fun and the cost is reasonable. Welcome to 2026. Would absolutely play again.
