In summary

Forest Park Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, as well as its challenging and scenic layout, which includes unique elevation changes and a mix of tight and open fairways. Visitors appreciate the course's value for money, although some have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional staff rudeness, particularly from specific individuals. Despite these concerns, many golfers enjoy the overall experience and recommend the course for its enjoyable play and beautiful setting.

Great course. 9/10 on maintenance. Fairways are always great & the majority of the greens are great. Some greens & bunkers need a little more up keep but overall a great course. They’ve raised the prices a bit but still a good bang for your buck. Older lady with glasses closes food down early for some reason or if there’s no hot dogs on the heater she’ll say they’re out rather than warming some up ( 1-2 mins tops in their mini oven ). The rest of the staff have no issues warming up a hot dog if there’s none on the heater and always keep food open later than she does. Other than that, a great e…

The course was in Awesome shape for the end of September. I really like the layout of this one. With the exception of a couple really long par three's, I usually shoot a good score here. I brought a friend who had never played the course before and He said He would definitely try this one again.

Great course. If you are looking for more challenging courses this is definitely it you got a lot of blind corners different elevations hitting down on the greens and hitting up on the greens It was a unique experience and I enjoyed it.

Checked out this course for first time recently, its a 50 minute ride for me. Left with over 30 minutes extra time, unfortunately 2 main roads were closed making traffic extremely backed up. I was 15 minutes late to course and the desk jockey preceded to lecture me about being late! Giving multiple scenarios about his personal opinions on the subject all in front of my son...extremely rude and unprofessional..we shall never return. Incidently we paid for golf and decided to not even play due to his behavior. We went to creek side with NO tee time and they got us on without one insulting quip!…

My son had his wedding at the club house, it was a really nice size room for the price he paid. I would love to go back and see this place in the summer because it's in a beautiful location.

Contradictory to other reviews I had a very pleasant experience with the staff. Course was in average condition. The day I came only the back 9 was open which was fine since I only planned on playing 9 regardless. Carts were good. I enjoyed the elevated tees and greens created a welcomed challenge.

The staff is friendly. The course plays fine. The amount of doo doo on the course from the geese is pretty excessive in a couple spots. The course would be more enjoyable if they enforced a little etiquette with regards to the loud (acid rock) music some golfers were playing. Not what I want to be immersed in during my round of golf.

I give this a two star because the course is quite nice, but the course ranger was very rude. We were a group of 4 who finished within 4 hours on 18. We offered to let people play through and they did not want to. The ranger was very rude to us and got snappy and threatening about our pace of play, and told me to stop talking when I tried to explain myself. This isn’t the only review I see about rude staff on these reviews. Maybe they should look into it.

Plays short, but always in good shape, really enjoy this course. The lady in the pro shop is one of the most unpleasant people you’ll ever speak to in your life, but if you can get past her terrible attitude (and this isn’t a one-off, I play here often and this lady is one of the most unpleasant human beings you will ever come across) and make it to the first tee box, it’s worth the price.

Beautiful golf course! The front 9 was full of twists and turns and the fairways were pretty tight. The back 9 explodes open with wide fairways and every tee box stands over monstrous hills. The greens were equally as high up as the tee boxes. Making for a rather challenging course overall. Amazing course!
