In summary

The Course at Aberdeen is often praised for its beautiful setting, challenging layout, and well-maintained greens and fairways. Many visitors enjoy the friendly staff and good clubhouse amenities. However, some golfers express dissatisfaction with the condition of the bunkers, occasional issues with course staff, and the high price relative to course maintenance, particularly noting slow play and inadequate drainage in certain areas.

Golf course is nice plenty of room for play. Had issues with the club ranger since we were playing in an outing to raise funds for a travel team of baseball players. I think our first 4 holes were completely interrupted because of that.

Such a beautiful course! We came into town (from Florida) to visit my parents & it’s one of my father’s favorite spots, and we can see why! The staff was amazing. Great condition.

Love the layout, price is right. The food is good, front desk very good. The greens, fairways and sand traps are very playable and usually in great shape. I would play here more often except I live 50 miles away and 1-80 eastbound is a truck stop.

Nice course, but extremely rude and disrespectful course staff (mainly the starter). Arrived 1-2 minutes early for my tee time and was forced to skip the first two holes because the starter had sent the group I was paired with off 20 minutes early, and was disrespectful to me acting like I was throwing off his whole operation (I was not). This is not the first time I have experienced disrespect from staff or golfers here, and it’s a shame such a beautiful course is tainted by that.

Had a great time playing here last Friday (Oct 28). Played my best round of the year! Men's tees were Loong at about 6500-6600 yards. I would not recommend walking this course, as it winds through a neighborhood with sometimes long distances from green to next tee. But driving it is fun, with some cool bridges to cross. Greens were freshly aerated which I didn't mind (might have saved me some strokes slowing my ball down on long putts 😀). My one thing is some tee boxes were very rough, I even teed off from off the teebox on a few, especially the par 3's. But not enough to take away my 5* ratin…

Disappointing as always. I don't know why I keep coming back. It's like a bad relationship where the other person puts in zero effort. This place hasn't had sand in their bunkers since Bubba Watson won a green jacket, but prioritizing new guard rails on 6 & 7 is a nice touch... I got an improvement idea for #7, TRIM A LIMB. I don't mind a tough, tight, tee shot but it's literally just hanging in the middle. The greens were rolling as quick as the tennis balls on the bottom of grandma's walker. And even in the midst of a moderate drought the course continues to hold water like the Edmund Fitzge…

Beautiful course! The fairways were in great shape as well as the greens! It's a challenging course with plenty of hills, sand, and water. We played a big cup outing and lemme tell ya it was a great time. Especially with some of the random pin placements. Some of the pins weren't even on the green during the outing which made for an interesting round.

Changes and improvements to the course are impressive. Traps are coming along nicely. Course in great shape. Greens are very good. Staff doing a great job. Appreciate all the hard work in making Aberdeen a "must play" destination!

What a fun round of golf. Conditions good. Pace was as expected. And the price was great . Beat value in the area for a "Big Boy" course.

Based on the reviews, I was not certain if I wanted to drive an hour to play this course…. I’m glad I did, It was worth the drive and more… it was the most relaxing round I think I’ve ever had in 40 years of playing golf, the scenery was amazing, just about every hole was isolated, everywhere was a variety of wildlife…. (Particularly Rabbits), friendly staff, great facilities, well organized .. Amazing overall experience.

Challenging course. Greens are solid. Great practice facility. Good food in the clubhouse and the cart girl comes by all the time. What more can you ask for?

For a weekend green fee of 80 hard earned dollars. The geens should be clear of debris and I don't think it's fair for golfers to pay 10 dollars for a cart that doesn't have at least a GPS it's just a cart.
