Indian Ridge Country Club

Really enjoyed this course. Wish the fairways were cut a bit shorter. Greens were in great shape. Plenty of challenge for a beginner or novice golfer. Nice little snack/drink shack out on the course with a very friendly employee. Already looking forward to going back to play another round.

We had an absolutely terrible experience here. When I called to make a tee time, the woman who answered told me to come on over and they would get us on the course. I asked for a specific tee time, and she did finally give me a tee time. When we arrived, I went into the clubhouse and there were several people (parties of four) that did not have tee times....but the staff just took their money and told them to go ahead. We came here to celebrate a birthday with friends and had a very negative experience. When we arrived, the woman and man working the front desk were rude and condescendingly told us to “just be patient” and to wait our turn. We waited an hour past our tee time due to the backup of 4 other parties in front of us. Due to them overbooking the course, it took us an hour and a half to play 2 holes, at which point the heat and lack of shade as well as the overall experience being negative led us to just leave. Set up a round of golf for a buddies birthday. Our tee time was 10:45, we arrived at 10:20. It took 10 minutes to check in. Once we were checked in we were told that things were running behind. We though this would be 5-10 minutes, we were wrong and tee'd off at 11:20. By 1:00 we had made it to hole 3, we left after. Greens were bumpy, fairways were rough. Overall I would give this a 0 if possible.

Course is in terrible condition especially for the price they are charging. Crabgrass everywhere, pretty much no fairways, leaves/debris all over the greens that affects your ball roll, over stacked tee times that bunches people up. Lady behind the counter in the club house is not welcoming at all. Carts are in terrible condition. Always a group of 12 retired guys in a league playing everyday slowing everyone down shooting quintuple bogeys (I watched them play a hole) and the club house tells you to stay out of their way. Had a 7:30am tee time on a Sunday in late September. The course conditions were a lot better than I expected. The fairways were a little hard, but workable. Greens were nice and medium speed. The layout is somewhat difficult but it is a very forgiving course. You pretty much can't mess up here. I will gladly play here again.

One of the worst golf courses in North West Indiana. The sprinklers come on at no warning on the fairway and greens. The course is not well maintained either. I give it two stars, simply because the greens were in decent shape.

Have not played there in a couple years walked 9 holes yesterday was very impressed with the coarse for the end of March fairways were good greens as expected for the end of March would recommend this place for a enjoyable 18 holes

It's an okay course, wish they had defined fairways, everything is cut the same length. Greens were in good shape on the front 9 but the back were a little rough. Not a lot of pitch marks, just didn't seemed cut or had some bald spots. Some nice wide open holes too and some pretty long par 4/5s.

Club house/ pro shop very dated and dirty. Downstairs restrooms are a mess ! dirty, smell of mold, paint missing,doors broken. The course greens were nice 👍😊 There was absolutely no way to tell fairways from rough, all was the same 4 inch tall grassy weeds. Tee boxes were almost grassless. Playing partner said it only deserves 1.5 stars. Will never play there again.

We called ahead and asked if they were letting carts out after a heavy rain. They told us to come right away if we want to get out because they have league play going on. We rushed over, paid, starting getting set up and realized they didn't have enough carts (2) for a foursome. The lady behind the counter was very rude when we asked if there were anymore more carts for us to use and she said that we had better start walking. We asked for a refund and will not be coming back.
