The bartender Kim has excellent customer service skills and I was very pleased with her service. I took of few of my buddies here and we played cards, listened to good music, ate some delicious food prepared by a young lady name Shanta. The place was full of cool people, no drama, good vibes and a time was had. I just wish they had a pool table but overall I really enjoyed myself and I will definitely come back again and bring some more of my people. Thank you for you great time Kim❣️

There are no sand traps, there used to be some, but they're overgrown with weeds and grass now. Small greens that need some care. Other than that not too bad for a city course. Also the website needs updating. It was $18 to ride 18 holes which is much cheaper than what's listed.

This course is dying of neglect and lack of maintenance. The greens are in horrible shape and many of the fairways are littered with crabgrass and ant hills. Please don't let this course "go under", the region should not lose another course. The city needs to decide if they want to maintain it properly, or do something else with the property. Status quo is unacceptable.

Inexpensive course with lots of room to not be perfect. Most of the fairways are wide enough to forgive errant shots. Generally the course seems long, but I suppose it would be very parrable if you can hit your driver, and fairway woods over 200 yards. We visit NW Indiana several times a year, and if the weather is good we try to get a round of golf in at Gleason.

Yeah I went here played golf with my nephew Kenny. The course is in need of repair to the greens and Fairways. Other than that like to play golf for $12 for 18 holes not a bad deal if you're passing through Gary it's right there off the Broadway exit.

I usually walk around South Gleason Golf Course regularly during the week. It's always a pleasant experience when the sun is shining bright and feeling the cool breeze coming from the shade trees.

I don't know about the Golf Course it looks a little subpar and Raggedy compared to the ones that I've seen elsewhere the one thing that I appreciate is the biking walking trail that they have this surrounds the golf course beware though it is in the city of Gary kind of rough you might need to bring some protection with you I've never personally had a problem

Grass ruff & fairways cut the same height and the clippings left behind. The greens if the have grass is mangiled just a horrible. They should pay you to play there

We walked past the golf course. It's not appearing to be open. We didn't see anyone golfing.
