In summary

Scherwood Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and friendly staff, with many visitors enjoying the executive course and driving range. The club offers a good value and is suitable for both beginners and more experienced golfers. However, some guests have experienced issues with customer service and course management, including slow pace of play and scheduling conflicts with league play.

Paid for 18 holes, where to old man who rang us up said to sign for cart 67 and be on your way. We get to the turn, and the starter tells us we can’t play the back 9 because of a league being started. Once we went inside to get a refund on 9 holes, the old man who rang us up immediately started to get combative and confrontational, insisting he made no mistake when he did. Mistakes happen, but poor and rude customer service seems to be a running theme at Scherwood.

Great course and range. Always friendly people working the pro shop. Executive course is in good condition. Only thing is one of the greens on the executive course has no hole or flag. Nothing at all just a green.

Great value on this course. It's public (read: lots of golfers of all different abilities) so don't expect a blazing fast pace of play on weekends. Course is fun and has its challenges. Staff is helpful. Course itself was in good shape as of my round in early November 2020.

We went for the first time with Scouts to earn a merit badge. Everyone was so super helpful, and the instructor was great with the kids. The next week, we attempted 9 holes on our own. It was fun even though we discovered we're really bad at it.! 🤣 Also, the lady in the shop was awesome.

Don’t worry you can walk the executive course at 5:45 but not get a cart. because of the sunset. even though the round would take more than twice as long while walking. Feels like a way to rip off people that just want a quick round after work

Great golf course and nice venue hall for a party. Nicely manicured lawns and sculptured bushes. Plenty of parking and less crowded than other courses in the area. The only draw back is that they post at the beginning of the course that they expect you to do 9 holes with 2 1/2 hours! They do have a driving range and putting greens too. Nice day outing.

Quiet carts. Auto ball dispenser at driving range. Lounge. Wasn't crowded until league play in the afternoon. Some challenging holes, but still good for beginners. <$50

Nice place. Everyone was very friendly. I would feel comfortable taking my family here because there was a lot of staff all around the course….and again all were awesome. All employees seemed happy to be there.

The driving range is great. The executive coarse even better. Be careful of the leaves.

Played here for the first time in a long time and I will say I was really impressed at how the course looked. For so long Scherwood wasn't in the greatest of shape and seeing how it looked today would def have me going back there to play again. From the tee boxes to the fairways to the greens, everything is starting to come alive. Great job everyone, keep up the good work.
