In summary

Fox Hollow Golf Course is appreciated for its well-maintained greens, affordable pricing, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for casual players and beginners. The course offers a pleasant layout with wide fairways and minimal water hazards, along with modern amenities such as GPS-equipped carts and a well-priced driving range. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about inconsistent maintenance of bunkers and tee boxes, occasional slow pace of play, and certain customer service experiences.

Went 8/24 with my husband who loves golf. Was told “Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, spectators aren’t allowed”, charged another $16 on top of the cart fee. Which isn’t stated on the website, nor have we ever had this occur at any other golf course we have attended. Was told it could be a “cart issue”’, but were paired with a group of 3, one walking and 2 in carts, but in the issue as a spectator. We wont go back, that upset us very much. For $92 we could have gone somewhere closer to home, and felt welcomed. Course was very nice, the cart girl, super sweet, bonded over a common interest we both…

Review is for the driving range - prices are great, $13 for a jumbo bucket (160 balls). The bays are well maintained, with shade over around half of them. The markers are clear and easy to see your shot. Great place to practice your swing.

Great public course. The greens and fairways are usually always in great shape. The bunkers are not great, lots of rocks. Brand new golf carts are awesome. They have gps, music, and food order services. The course offers challenging holes for all players. It’s easy to walk. The driving range is okay, but the practice putting greens are great. Staff is friendly and the food is good. Let go golf!

Not a golfer, but I love spending an afternoon smacking golf balls on the driving range. $13 for a jumbo bucket. I forgot clubs, they let me use a house driver & iron. (Thank you for that) Very friendly staff, clean facilities and plenty of space to stretch out & get some fresh air, sunshine & exercise.

More or less the most affordable golf course in Baltimore county, and it’s always in good condition too. Pretty easy, usually don’t lose many balls. And the range is great

Being a first time golfer, I did not feel welcome by only 1 person at this course. The guy who is in the booth before hole 1. I was not aware a 5pm tee time meant to get to the booth at 4:55. We arrived at 5:01. Instead of bringing the policy to our attention he mentioned we were LATE and he’s going to have to go through a lot of trouble fixing this. Then he stayed silent and started at me for what felt like 30-45 seconds. Then I spoke first and said, so what happens next? Do I get moved to a later time and he just mumbled something. The only other issue I had was when checking in, I didn’t kn…

Such a beautiful course! If you hit a good drive, you might only need a wedge! Challenging even still! Love ❤️ this place!

I play this course multiple times throughout the year and it's always nice. Greens are usually well maintained. Pace is usually kept well without too many delays. Plenty of parking and a driving range and a few practice greens. Moderate difficulty with many of the par 4 and 5's being fairly straight. Decent pro shop with a snack bar. Carts were upgraded in about 2023 to have screens with GPS.

I always have fun at this course. Not too challenging and always in pretty good shape. Usually see lots of deer and fox throughout the round.

Playing at Fox Hollow is becoming increasingly frustrating. Prices are way up and every round you play is cart-path only. The course is NOT maintained well enough to justify paying $70+ for a 6:30am tee time. This course used to be the affordable, easy-going golf course for casual players and beginners, but now it's an overpriced mess with inconsistent greens, war-torn tee-boxes, and annoying rules. It's now the Six Flags or Safeway of golf courses in all the wrong ways. I give it 2 stars instead of 1 because I think the driving range is still very well-priced and maintained, even if it doesn'…

I played (Fox Hollow) there yesterday and it was one of the last tee-times of the day….. I returned my cart right as it was getting dark and unfortunately, I left a very nice golf towel…. When I got home and realized that I called back and the shop was closed… I called back this morning and actually gave them my cart number and they said there was no towel there… I know this is ultimately my fault, but I really feel like the golf course has not given me any kind of passion or concern for trying to find this towel. I spoke to the manager on duty and it sounded like I was bothering them!!!! This…

My favorite local county course. This is a great course for casual players with no water hazards and wide open fairways on most holes. They have five par 3 and four of them are short. The clubhouse is normal and food is decent and prices are fair.
