Pine Ridge Golf Course is praised for its picturesque setting along the Loch Raven Reservoir, well-maintained fairways and greens, and accommodating amenities such as a driving range and pro shop. The course layout is noted for being player-friendly, catering to various skill levels, and offering scenic views. Pine Ridge is a really nice municipal golf course located just north of the city of Baltimore. The course hosted the PGA Tour’s Eastern Open Invitational from 1959 to 1961 and plays along the Loch Raven Reservoir for much of its routing. Overall the conditions of the course were very good and the layout was very player friendly with relatively wide fairways and large greens allowing for players of all skill levels to record a good score. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly with the exception of the starter who was very rude and exhibited a bad attitude.

Hands down one of my favorite golf courses in the area. Wide fairways, great views, probably the best greens I've ever seen on a public course. If it gets better than this, it must be a private course. Technically it's a Baltimore City course since it's on city land. Plenty of parking. Great driving range. Pro shop. Bar and food.

Customer service needs work. I stopped after work to hit a few balls at the range, this is at about 4:50pm. I went to go inside and get a bucket and the door was locked. No problem, looked like they were closing up so I turned around to leave. As I'm walking away, I notice an older lady go up to the door and they unlock it and let her in. She goes up to the front counter and appears to be talking to them, so I think okay maybe they're willing to let a few more people grab a bucket before they close up. I turn around and check the door, which is now unlocked. I open the door, walk in, they don'…

Beautiful course with many incredible views along the water. The leaves changing colors added amazing colors to our 18. The course was in good shape and at a great rate. I will be back again.

I have been playing Pine Ridge the past few years, and i am always disappointed with the quality of the course. Whether it is in Feb (like i just played) or in the summer, the fairways are so burnt out and thin, see attached picture. While the fall rates are appropriate for the quality of the course, not worth the full Spring/Summer price

I've only been here the one time. They have toptracer which is like top golf only much, much, much less expensive and better, if you ask me. We just walked on and got to play. The people are friendly and the accommodations are very nice. We saw a fox on the course. Haha.

Beautiful course along the water's edge with lots of great views. It plays a little long with several par 5s and some par 4s that feel like 5s. We played on a bit of a cold day in November and there were quite a few large dead spots in the rough that looked like sand traps.

Great golf course, on the cheaper side, it has a driving range and two putting greens. The course itself is nice. The largest issue is probably geese poop on the course.

What a great atmosphere! The staff and crew always have a smile and warm greeting, it's as if they actually like their jobs! The course itself is awesome and maintained beautifully and presents a great challenge for even the more advanced golfer! One of my favorites!

Great views of Loch Raven, beautiful course. Only negative is the duck poo, course can get a little beat up due to the heavy play it receives. Some fun holes, shots over the water. Best of the city courses. Edit: changed 5 star to 1, pace has been awful, 5 hours 30 min in chilly weather with 3 groups stacked up at tee box, course didnt seem to care. Some old white guys routinely play 5-6 hour rounds here and if you catch them prepare to wait 10 min per hole. The photo shows 3 groups waiting on the 12th tee box.

Pine Ridge is a picturesque public course adjacent to the Loch Raven reservoir. Nicely maintained, but lots of geese from the water, with the usual goose droppings, if that bothers you. It's one of the better public courses that presents a good play environment. There is a popular driving range as well.

Course was in beautiful condition. Greens were pretty fast and fairways looked great and cut beautifully. You can tell the grounds crew really cares about the work they do here. 10/10 recommend playing here. The super intendant is doing a fabulous job managing the grounds, we saw him on the course and he approached us and thanked us for playing and was overall a very welcoming guy. Safe to say I have a new favorite course since moving to the area.
