In summary

Franklin Golf Course is appreciated for its affordability and friendly staff, making it a suitable spot for beginners and those looking for a quick 9-hole round. The course has seen improvements in maintenance, including better greens and tee boxes, and offers amenities like a driving range and simulator. However, some visitors have noted issues with course conditions, such as uneven fairways and poorly maintained greens, and have experienced inconsistent customer service.

Nothing fancy but good value for the money. It is a tight course with small greens. You’ll hear traffic noise for sure. We didn’t need a tee time, and got through 9 holes fairly quickly. Nice little spot.

So, I have to be honest here. Brunette behind the counter yesterday has a MAJOR attitude. I made a suggestion about fans on the practice range and got even more attitude (basically calling me an idiot for being there hottest part of the day). Course manager seems really cool. Looks like a decent track for a 9 hole. Putting green has weed clusters all over so you can't even practice a 10 foot putt. I'd lay some artificial turf on that until time to start over. Great experience except rude rude rude lady working the counter and no puttable practice surface.

This course was the first I ever played. Great course for new golfers, vets, or anyone trying to do a quick 9 before or after work. Love the staff. Best driving range around. Byob too. Bring cash if you want a nice new putter, driver, or maybe a whole new set. Love this course!! With that being said... who ever stole my range finder off cart 5 two Saturday ago has a lot of bad golf coming their way.. aim for the bushes brother. #85or105

I grew up around this course and played for the high school and middle school golf team in Franklin. If you are an avid golfer DO NOT go to this course expecting anything that resembles a golf course - over the years I have got to the point where even if my friends or family try paying for me to go I will not go - tee boxes are hard as a rock with hardly any grass and not level, the “fairways” are just a mowed cow pasture and there is no GOOD spot to land the ball, bunkers are always filled with water or unraked, and if by the grace of god you hit the green chances are you have a HUGE bald spo…

I play there today to get some rust off my game it cost a little more to play 9 with cart, but its worth it. The greens are looking better, and I see were the money is being used and this is why its getting 4 stars, they are rebuilding everything new tee boxes replacing some grass , and the fairways are starting to look less weedy. All on all it worth putting up with the temporary tee areas. Its starting to look like a golf course, a good place to have fun.

I really enjoyed my last couple of trips to Franklin Golf Course. Current management has done a remarkable job of improving the course over the last couple of years. The greens are in the best shape I've seen in a long time and general maintenance of the course has vastly improved. A good value for your money.

Called before showing up said we had a hour. Showed up for pool, they closing 30 min early, can’t even get a 5 percent local discount. Don’t you want returning customers? Other wise golfing is fun. Lol

9 hole course, that greens are small, fairways are like mowed "pastures " Kinda shaby, but good for beginners and kids to learn on, before advancing and to a NICER real 18 hole golf golf course!!

Went here for the first time on Sunday and was very dissatisfied with the course and the staff. Tee box's were not maintained, had to tee off in mud on almost every hole. Greens were not maintained either. Then to top off the experience, there was an issue with one of the greens and it looked like someone kicked up the grass around the hole. We were confronted twice on the course and asked if we had seen any other damage and was asked to see our shoes. Then someone was standing by our cars waiting to ask us again. Felt like we were getting blamed because we were not members. If I was a member…

It's an older 9 hole course but nicely maintained. They have a simulator for rainy days and a repair shop on site. Rates are cheap for the area.
