In summary

Frasch Park Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The layout offers a fair challenge without being overly difficult, and the natural surroundings enhance the overall experience. While the greens are currently undergoing improvements, the course is generally in good condition. Some visitors have noted that large events can complicate parking and accommodations, and the lack of a comprehensive online presence can be inconvenient for some.

Second time I've played this course. The course conditions were fair to good but well maintained. The fairways are in decent condition and the rough cut within reason. The greens were freshly cut with new cup placements, rolling fairly quick but wasn't holding a lot of shots due to being fairly new. That is typical for greens that aren't mature. Although not my first choice for play but I can understand that it can hold a certain appeal for beginners and weekenders play. The cost associated with weekend is extremely reasonable. The staff is super inviting, the carts in great condition the food…

Frasch Park Golf Course in Sulphur, Louisiana, is a solid choice for golfers seeking an affordable and enjoyable round. At just $25 for seniors on weekdays, it’s a fantastic value. The course which I , currently rate a 7 out of 10 for condition, is undergoing a green changeover, which slightly affects playability. However, give it a couple of weeks, and it should be in great shape, as the staff is clearly dedicated to maintenance. The layout is very playable, offering a fair challenge for golfers of all skill levels without being overly punishing. Fairways are decently maintained, and the gree…

I had some free time while visiting and went hit a bucket of balls at the range. I was delighted to see that the range was very well taken care of. From the chipping area to the swinging area. Most ranges that I have went to have had hard dirt, making it difficult to properly hit a ball off the deck as well as making it difficult to place your tee in the ground. All of the grounds were well kept. I will definitely be back to play a round.

Clean bathrooms, picnic tables, party areas with cover. They also have other benches around. Safe playground slides. What I believe is important is swings for our older special kids. That needs the extra safety. I appreciate the thoughtful arrangement of the amenities, like clean bathrooms, picnic tables, and party areas with cover. It's also nice to see the addition of benches thoughtfully placed throughout the area. The safe playground slides are especially important for families. Ultimately, I believe this would create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.

Played the course for the first time yesterday, and I’ve got to say, major props to Sulphur! From the clubhouse to the fairways, everything was clean, green, and surprisingly fancy for a city course. Now compare that to my local spot in Beaumont, Henry Homberg… that place feels more like a cow pasture with flags. City of Beaumont must think grass grows on its own. Good job, Sulphur, I’ll definitely be back!

Frasch Park is one of my families favorite parks! They have such beautiful trees that are perfect shade, when needed! They have a huge playground, a vollyball court, and a basketball court! It's lovley!

My previous review was not worth carrying hatred in my heart ultimately this course is fun to play and the golf pro is very friendly and fun to visit with. The only complaint I have is myself and order veterans and military was not too happy with the way our tournament launched off but it’s ok maybe next year will be better.

Had a great round of golf this past weekend. Glad to see the course is finally getting the care that it needed. Greens were clean, fast, and well prepped. Looking forward to another round!

I visit here 2-3 times weekly. I play basketball a lot. The court has lights but only seems to turn them on occasionally. Sometimes the park gets dirty hut overall decent. I like the park I think it has character. Definitely got some good workouts in when there's no one else at the park.

Good facility as long as they don't host large events they go overboard and complicate parking and accommodations...

Great customer service, and we'll taken care of golf facility. The driving range is nice and kept up with, with options of chipping greens and putting greens aswell. The corse itself is well maintained and quite the experience. Fairly priced fees and the grill is nice aswell.

Its a muni but the course is in good shape. George is a pretty okay guy. He runs it. Actually he's a great guy and never ceases to ask how I am and my son. Greens are decent, no bunkers for the most part, but there are some fairly challenging holes. 17 and 18 for sure.
