Absolutely beautiful course in wonderful condition can’t wait to play a summer round here

Booked 11:30 on a Wed only to find out that they had some tournament going off at that time. So, they sent me off the back ( I was playing alone) and I found myself in the middle of that tournament. The guys playing kept reminding me that I was in the midst of their tournament. If you play mid-week and book thru GolfNow, you might want to check with the pro shop to make sure you won't run into those guys playing the tournament. The course was reasonably well-kept and I would play it again...after checking with the pro shop.

I don’t like giving a 3-star rating, but the drop is completely based on the greens, especially those on the back 9. Overall, the new clubhouse is beautiful, the range is nice, the carts (electric Club Car Onward) are awesome (matte dark green with custom designed seats). The course design is fun and challenging and the wind can really impact the course because of the lack of trees. It’s wide open with lots of trouble if you miss the fairways. Many elevated can make up and downs essential and undulated greens bring in potential 3-putts. However, before you start your round, the putting green…

Was able to play this course after seeing it on golfnow app. Very nice course along with carts (gps) and club house. Friendly staff members. After reading reviews I was little worried about pace of play but we had a walking twosome directly infront of us and we still finished under 3 1/2hrs. Course was pretty busy as well, being a Wednesday. Tee times are reasonably priced, will definitely be back.

My husband wanted me to ride along with him and the pro shop said that they do not allow riders on the weekends. If we had known this, we would’ve gone to a different course!! Please let people know that there are no riders on weekends!!

Great course layout. Course in great shape. Very reasonable greens fees. Clubhouse is awesome. Big room, great service. Our Alamo City Amigos Golf Association was there this past week and the experience was outstanding.

This course is a hidden gem. Came and played while visiting Lake Charles, and had a great experience. Can’t beat the quality for the price!

Interesting course to play. It looks very open and easy but it can get you when you are not expecting it. Keep out of the bunkers.

Mallard Golf Club was a great time! The staff is very friendly and helpful! I felt welcomed from the second I walked into the pro shop by Emma and Kennedy was an amazing waitress who made my breakfast an experience! Food was great and the course was beautiful. Thank you Mallard!

I visited Mallard Golf Course this Veteran's Day and I'm so glad I did! The course was in great condition and the customer service was top notch! The food was amazing and and my waitress Kennedy was the sweetest thing! I will definitely be back.
