In summary

Gilbertsville Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained fairways and greens, diverse 27-hole layout, and friendly staff, offering a pleasant golfing experience with scenic views. However, some visitors have noted issues with cart paths, bunkers, and water availability on the course. While many find the pricing reasonable, a few have expressed concerns about the condition of certain course areas and the behavior of specific staff members.

Nice course that's pretty well maintained. They have three 9 hole sections so they keep players spread out and the pace is great. My only gripe from day I played would be lack of water in the water coolers on the course. They have coolers every several holes, but they were all empty, at 10am during mid July.

Played the red 9. Fairways were plush, if you hit the fairway you got decent roll and it was like hitting your ball off a carpet. Around the greens you can tell the green keeper pays attention to the little things. The slopes around the green were mowed down and on some holes blended into the teebox for the next hole. The views were great, and each hole had it's own unique characteristics. The only knock on the black was that the bunkers had rocks in them, and the marking from green to tee wasn't the best. I walked and ended on the wrong tee twice.

Course is in good shape fairways are very nice but outside of that was not satisfied with the rest of the course for the money. Ninety percent of the sand traps we're loaded with water and some for awhile because there was algae on top and the ones that didn't have water in them we're very hard like no sand and cutting the grass the clippings were everywhere big globs all over the place I don't think I will be going back.

Course was in good shape for late October and greens fees were reasonable. There are a ton of geese all around the course as well as a fox that will follow you around looking for food but other than that no real complaints.

Greens are rolling great. Fairways are in good shape. Tee boxes are so-so but that’s expected since the course gets a lot of play. Employees are always friendly. Keep up the good work. See you next week.

Golf course is in great shape. Golf outing was very well organized and everybody had a great time whilst helping out St Lukes. 3 different 9 hole courses to play any 2 of to make your 18 holes. Def recommend you play here.

Good place to get a quick 9 in after work on a weekday. Would be upset if I paid the full rate on the weekend. Fairways were decent. Greens could use work and bunkers were all overgrown with weeds

My son and I had a great time. The course is well maintained. The greens have a good pace. Little on the fast side. Lots of fun.

Decent older course...on the red nine the cart paths we're really rough and the tee boxes were all chewed up, but the fairways and greens were very nice... The blue nine must be newer. The cart paths we're recently paved and the tee boxes were in better shape... The course is basically flat with few hills and few obstacles...great for the veteran golfer and the beginner...decent price too...I will return.

I had very low expectations after reading the other reviews and was pleasantly surprised. The course was in great condition and more scenic than I expected. The carts weren't that bad, there were views of surrounding hills and a church steeple with tolling bells. A nice variety of holes. And with the victory pass coupon book, $19 for 18 holes with cart. Can't beat that.

Had a great experience on a nice mild November day for golf. Amazing customer service in the clubhouse and rate was a bargain. Would highly recommend. It's clear they appreciate your business! With some many options in the area for public golf, I will definitely be back soon.

Love this course. Granted it was a Monday but I was able to play 27 holes in just over 3 hours. I was playing solo but had I been with others time never would have been an issue. The course itself is in great shape especially this time of the year. The greens were in great shape. Bunkers had some signs of winter damage but nothing makor. Fairways and tee boxes were being mowed as I played. All in all great place to play 9 18 or 27 holes.
