Fun and challenging course! With all the rain this summer course conditions are great right now. Some funky holes with tight approach shots, elevated greens, and all around a beautiful walk. I would consider this a hidden gem in the area right behind Glacier Woods. Heard the Fall colors are amazing here will be back to check that out.

This is a fun course to play. Lots of good and quirky holes. The condition was not great, but just ok. The hills and wood's holes are a great setting. I liked holes 2, 3, 5, 11, 13 and 16. I thought 17 and 18 are almost unfair as the tree line on 17 is crazy just off the tee and the fairway slants left. 18th green is tucked and you are hitting on a downslope to a green up high. The price was very reasonable for 18 holes and a cart.

Great course. Fun layout and some rolling hills. Several elevated greens. Course can dry out in late summer depending on rainfall that season, especially the back 9. They are doing some work on changing tee boxes on a few holes. Mix of wooded and more open terrain holes.

Clubhouse is nice but primarily a bar which isn’t a bad thing. Staff are friendly. Course itself is in a beautiful setting. However the fairways are narrow and hardly classify as fairways. Roughs are so tall you’ll lose the ball immediately. Overall the course needs better maintenance.

Great golf course. Beautiful topography and landscaping. The little hut for drinks between the holes versus a cart person is a great idea and charming. Great staff. Sharon, the bartender is very personable and elevates the experience.

The owners take themselves far too seriously, as if they're running a premier country club. Lighten up, keep golf fun. It's a fine course but the fairway and rough were much too long - could not see a ball from 10 feet away. Found a dozen lost drives in plain sight because nobody could locate their ball. No excuse for that on the holiday weekend.

This is a challenging course that is also a hidden gem. Interesting hazards and trees that penalize poor tee shot placement. A well thought out course layout. Very enjoyable to play and good sandwiches as well. I look forward to playing again.

Played on July 31, 2023. Some good things- 1. Out in the country, very quiet. 2. Good variety of holes, quite a bit of elevation change. 3. Some beautiful rock and flower gardens, might be the best we've seen. 4. A good challenge, plays harder than the slope or ratings indicate. Now the bad- 1. Greens are slow, so slow, so so slow. If you're not going to take care of the fairways, at least make putting fun. 2. Fairways are terrible, mostly narrow, probably to cut down on mowing. 3. Rough is worse, almost half dead grass and dirt. 4. Signage is spotty, if you're new here, as we were, plan to g…

The course was in great shape. A little light rain was refreshing in the higher humidity. We'll be back.

Upon arrival, you can't take the golf cart out to the car to load up because others were "misbehaving" with them. Not a good course layout at all. Often you can't tell the fairway from the rough and sometimes the rough is deeper than a US Open course. If you like really strange looking unorthodox holes this is for you. Seems like a homemade course. No tap beer. Sorry, never again.

Fairways are burnt out! Tees are terrible! Greens are slow and bumpy. I asked one of the staff why they are not watering fairways and tees and his answer was “We can’t keep up”. Which means you’ve given up! This course could be an amazing layout! After playing today I will NEVER come back! You have wasted a golden opportunity at Glen Cairn! Sad to see it it turn into a cow pasture with no grass!

What a beautiful little course tucked away in the woods and farmlands . Enjoyed it so much along with the beauty and serenity, although the missed putts and blown chips weren’t all that serene. That’s golf ! Undiscovered gem here
