In summary

Perrys Landing Golf Course is appreciated for its challenging layout, featuring a mix of open and wooded areas with steep hills and water hazards, which many find appealing. The staff is generally described as friendly and accommodating, and the course offers a nice setting for both golf and social gatherings. However, some visitors have noted that the greens are in poor condition and the course maintenance could be improved, with concerns about the lack of a drink service on the course.

This course is not as easy as it looks The front nine is open yet has some very difficult shots The back nine plays like a whole different course make sure you play your irons well or bring extra balls I lost 4 balls trying to take short cuts I highly recommend playing Take your best shots

Friendly staff. Tee boxes and fairways were in decent shape, the greens were in tough shape. Liked the layout of the course

I've been coming here for years and I'm very grateful to the now previous owner. I'll miss him. He was very accommodating. The course he built is gorgeous and challenging with steep hills, trees, and water. Unlike most people, I walk and carry my clubs and I cherish the morning workout. It's truly everything I want in a golf course and I'm so glad it's in Marion.

I was there before the new owners, and, now there is kept up cart paths and green grass . It's looking like a course again. And the grill was delicious. I also liked the driving range set up.

We have been doing our golf outing for several years now, he’s very in personable toward our group anyways. Our group knows to bring their own drinks because there is no drink runner out there so he is losing a lot of money that way. The greens were the worst we’ve ever seen them this year but we will be back next year to do it again we will support our local golf courses Perry’s Landing it will be, And don’t forget to bring drinks with they don’t always have a drink runner maybe they never have drink runners stay hydrated…

Front 9 green conditions are TERRIBLE! So dry they're actually cracked and brown. Back 9 are not much better but at least could tell they had been watered recently. Fairways were ok but the course is not well maintained at all especially for the price. The gentleman in the clubhouse was less than friendly to put it nicely. Don’t waste your $

Staff was friendly and helpful. Course was in decent condition, maybe a little shaggy, but not bad at all. I will play there again.
