In summary

Shawano Lake Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained course, interesting layout, and friendly staff, with many visitors enjoying the dining options and events hosted at the clubhouse. However, some guests have experienced issues with service, including slow food preparation and unrecorded reservations, as well as occasional delays in pace of play. Despite these challenges, the club remains a popular choice for both golfing and dining.

Went in for early fish fry a couple times. Salad bar had obviously been out a while but when we mentioned it they updated immediately. Wait staff are very nice. Kinda busy even for early diners. Fish plates are the usual for the area. Outside patio dining next to driving range. Double bubble. Would recommend. Friday menu attached. Bat is always busy. Haven't played the course yet.

Challenging course, and in good shape! Lots of dog legs and some tight approaches. Fun course and the staff was super helpful and friendly!

Fairways and greens were in good shape, the layout kept things interesting, and the pace of play went smoothly. Wings at the clubhouse after the round was great and the staff was polite, we will definitely be back.

Kinda dumpy, just gravel parking lot and cart paths. Just a sign at the pro shop saying "sign in at bar" stood at a busy bar for a bit, didnt get any service, didnt really look like they knew how tee times worked?? I have a voucher for a free round but don't think I want to go back to use it.

Don’t play here unless u have a lot of time, had to wait atleast 10 minutes every tee box. Pro shop is the rudest and most unprofessional I’ve ever dealt with. Course isn’t bad though.

Come for the golf, stay for the food. The course and club house are kept up nicely. They also host smaller banquets and events.

2 hour wait for food to be ready. Food was horrible. Over done burgers and wings terrible. Group next to us got up and left because they haven’t gotten their food. We didn’t even eat our meals and ended up going to Subway at 8:30pm

The best pan-fried walleye! I hear the perch is great too!

Showed up for our Saturday morning outing and found our reservation wasn't recorded. They had an outing and course wasn't open. Gentlemen was kind enough to allow us to get our round in before the major golf outing they had scheduled.

My friend and I went here to golf 9 holes, our golf cart died, which happens. I proceeded to call the club house 8 times for a new cart & no one answered. I then walked to the club house and no one sent a new cart to us. The people who manage the place do not know what they’re doing. Do not go here, find a different course
