In summary

The Golf Club of Wentzville is praised for its well-maintained course, enjoyable layout, and friendly staff, with amenities like lunch included in the greens fee being a notable highlight. However, recent changes in management have led to increased prices and new policies that some find frustrating, alongside occasional complaints about slow pace of play and management decisions. Despite these issues, many still appreciate the course's condition and overall experience.

We were traveling through on vacation and decided to stop and play golf. We were treated so well! The fees also included a lunch, a drink a cart and a good time. We can’t say enough about the people that work here and the golf course itself. We’ll definitely be stopping if we drive through this way again. Becky and Phil

The Golf Club of Wentzville is very consistent...course layout is enjoyable and maintenance keeps fairways, greens, and rough in very playable condition. A very fair course for players of all skill levels.

Was part of a 20 team scramble and after 3 hours was told by 2 different course advisors we were playing too slow. I could see 2 teams in front of me and thought it would be polite to not play in to them. This course disagreed with me. I guess my 10th year here will be my last.

New ownership is garbage. I actually like this course but $93 for a round is a joke. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Literally raised the price by $30 overnight. I play a lot of golf and will pay $100 for a round but this course is not a $100 course. Get real!

Since under going new management the pricing here has increased quite a bit and they make booking a tee time such hassle now. This used to be one of our favorite courses however until the pricing returns to a decent rate we will be playing elsewhere. Do better or our group won’t return.

Wonderful lay-out, fairways and tee boxes need work. Greens were in prerty good shape, a little slow for my liking. Great views, and quiet place to enjoy a round.

I’m leaving 5 stars because I love this course and want to keep playing it. As of recent, last 2 days, my experience hasn’t been great. Showed up for my tee times, Thursday and Friday, very early, and ran into a line of people who were just as aggravated as me. We ended up teeing off 20 minutes after our scheduled time both days. The line of golfers we were behind was incredible. That rounded ended up at about 6 hours. Today same thing happened but course management thought it would be a good idea to come around at Hole 6 and tell all golfers and groups behind and in front of us that we needed…

This course is always in good condition. They have new owners and are remodeling the clubhouse. But be aware that they have raised their prices, but the greens fee now include lunch.

Nicely detailed course, not too hilly, not too much water. Had a great deal that included lunch and a drink

I've been playing at the Golf Club of Wentzville for over 20 years and have participated in league play for many of those seasons. The course itself has always been enjoyable—especially the back 9, which offers a fun and challenging layout. It’s been a great place for both casual rounds and competitive play. Unfortunately, recent changes in management or ownership have significantly impacted the experience. High school practice times have been scaled back, and league play is being eliminated—right as the season was getting underway. It’s unclear whether this applies to all league nights, but…

This course is extremely mismanaged and the Marshalls are lazy . We had a private 48 person outing and the course needed a credit card to hold. The starter known as Cosmo held the group up on the box #1 because the group scheduled to go off wasn't there yet. However, there is a sign clearly at the check in inside the clubhouse that states you MUST be on the box at your scheduled time. We went off at 730 and 10 was open. The party who was late should have been sent to 10 or wait for our 48 person stroke play event to start. It took us over 5 hours to play that day. Called and left a voicemail…

Played there for the first time last Friday. The staff was friendly, the course was in very nice shape including the greens. The price we paid was no higher than most courses we play unless you want to play courses that are not kept very nice. The free lunch at the end was great. I dont like paying any more than i have to for golf but it takes alot of effort to keep these courses in nice shape. Golf pricing is up along with everything else. If you want to play at a cheaper course, dont expect much.
