In summary

Golf Islesmere is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and excellent clubhouse amenities, making it a popular choice for both golfing and hosting events. Visitors appreciate the variety offered by its three nine-hole courses and the scenic setting. However, some guests have noted issues such as inconsistent bunker maintenance, slow pace of play during tournaments, and occasional communication lapses regarding club policies and closures.

5 star clubhouse and atmosphere. The golf course is in great shape other than the bunkers which need some maintenance and better sand. Most greens are raised and heavily protected by bunkers. Approach shot accuracy will determine your score

I became a member near the end of the season. I've played a few rounds these days. The atmosphere was great and the staff was friendly

20250516: I used to enjoy the peaceful environment near Islesmere Golf Club, but since this year, a loud constant noise—likely from a thermopane centrale—runs 24/7. It sounds like a diesel truck parked outside my window, making it impossible to open windows or relax in my garden. This was never an issue last year. We spoke with the golf club management, but they refused to take any action. Extremely disappointing and disrespectful to residents living nearby.

Went for a wedding the event began outside with limited seating available. The inside was pretty nice. The food was very plain. Salad had croutons so big and hard I couldn’t eat them. The linguine with pesto was drowning in sauce. The main course was the only thing edible braised beef was tender and the salmon was dry. The waiters kept removing my drink before I was done repeatedly. Thank God it was a happy event so we could forget about the food.

Great place ..Friendly staff We held a birthday event this weekend at Golf Islesmere restaurant and it was really a pleasant experience to us and our friends Big thanks to Marc-Andre, Joyce and the restaurant team for their warm welcoming, perfect accommodation and delicious food Highly recommend place

Airy and bright dinning areas. Very clean establishment serving excellent lunch or supper. Ideal accomodation for family parties or business functions. More private functions may be undertaken on the top floor dinning room which is smaller/ more quaint. Unfortunately frequented by a more pretentious crowd compared to other golf courses. Much importance given to the upscale euro cars left on the lawn or very close to the valet for display. In today's world of high indebtedness and leased vehicles, the shrewd are no longer impressed. Park them at the back.

Love the history behind this place, but to be closed for the last couple hours, without an email sent out to the members, it’s a disappointing experience for me when I show up to play a 9 on a beautiful evening. Today I noticed we had gloomy weather with very mild rain, but why are you closed for the rest of the day? It stopped raining at around 3:30 pm. It was 5 pm on June 9th, 2022 when I showed up. No rain, and the sun was starting to peak through the clouds. Very very disappointed to not be able to play at a course I’m a member in when there’s sun outside.

No where on google or their website does this explicitly say PRIVATE club. They also have a section on their website which lists green fees for guests which is extremely misleading. I called their pro shop to book a tee time (as public visiting from out of province) & the course pro didn't even ask if I was a member or if we were public. We showed up to the course & 2 staff asked what we were doing there. They then informed us it was private & there was no way for us to golf. Huge waste of our time thanks to careless management & staff not being clear about private course.

Nice track Very soft after a lot of rain. Speed of the greens were a bit inconsistent and some broke less than appeared and others moreso. Unfortunately it took 5 and a half hours to play in our tournament so only four stars because of that. Couldn't stay around afterwards to check out the bar and kitchen.

I'm reviewing Club de golf islesmere as an event venue...I hosted a baby shower here and it was terrific! The food was very good, the location is nice, the rooms are really nice and the staff is so friendly. Also, the restaurant Director, François, is so kind and accomodating. He really was helpful every step of the way. I would recommend this venue for weddings, showers ...really any event. I had a wonderful experience hosting my event here!
