What People Say

In summary

Golf Le Manitou is appreciated for its scenic setting and friendly staff, with its layout offering a mix of par 3s and a few par 4s, making it suitable for beginners. However, many visitors have expressed significant disappointment with the course's current condition, particularly the greens and bunkers, which are described as unplayable due to neglect and lack of maintenance. The pricing has also been criticized as not reflecting the course's deteriorated state.

This is a course I play annually - usually it’s in very good shape, I understand this year they ran into some issues but this is completely unacceptable - some of the greens were “playable” but most were not… you guys should NOT be charging the same price you would if the course was in top tier condition, the rocks in the bunkers need to be removed it’s been years now… do better! I’m not risking damage to my already over priced golf clubs because of your laziness to prep bunkers better and keep your course in good condition. This course has so much potential, it’s truly a great track to play b…

I wouldn’t wish this course on my worst enemy. About $80 for green fees and a cart for probably the worst course I’ve played in my life. The “sand” bunkers are filled with rocks and completely unplayable, and you would be better off to chip off of the greens rather than putt due to the ball often bouncing 6” in the air on a putt. This course is disrespectful to the game of golf.

I was really let down by the condition of the Manitou Golf Course. The greens are frostbitten beyond repair this season, with long, uncut grass that makes putting nearly impossible. The bunkers are filled with stones and clearly haven’t been maintained—they desperately need to be sifted. At $63, this course is nowhere near worth the cost. Even the walking rate of $35 plus tax feels steep for what you get. Realistically, it feels like a $20 course, maybe $30 if you’re including a cart. There are better-maintained options nearby—I’d recommend spending a bit more elsewhere for a much better exp…

It's been tough with a dry summer, yet the course should be better than this. Many unplayable greens and bunkers with rocks the size of golf balls. It's too bad as the layout is great and the property has a lot of potential.

I come to Tremblant every year for a golf trip and always start my trip with the round at Manitou. I am shocked the condition of the course this year. The greens are burnt out, the tea boxes are trash, it looks like they’ve completely abandoned the course. And on top of it, they increased the price to $55, and got rid of the twilight right. The last time I’ll ever play this course. What a disgrace.

This course is terrible , the greens are so bad you can’t even putt. It has potential but you can tell they don’t put any money into the course at all .

A hidden gem in Mont Tremblant. Great course for beginners as it is mostly a par 3 course with a few par 4s. Super friendly staff and a beautiful landscape. Also nice that the course was not busy at all (since most must of been at the other courses in the area). I will be back!

Good course, green not so good. But if you want to practice before playing in a bigger golf courses it’s perfect.

The worst golf course I have ever been to. 86 dollars to play in the Sahara desert. There was not 1 good green, the worst green was about 3000 square ft and had 2 square ft of grass on it. Tiger Woods couldn't sink a put on these greens. I highly advise everyone considering to go to cancel it. Have a better time playing on hwy 401.

Came from out of town while on vacation and rented some clubs. The clubs were old and mismatched but that is to be expected if you are renting clubs. This is the most affordable course In the are with very good prices on 18 holes as long as you don't get a golf Cart. First mine were very fun with odd course design presenting unique challenges. The back nine on the other hand were the worst kept grounds that I've ever seen. Entire greens were dead grass and dirt. As long as you were fine with moving a few rocks the Bunkers were manageable but the greens made it basically unplayable. I've played…

Played Manitou today August 11,2025. We have played this course each year and have really liked it. However , today the course is virtually unplayable on the front nine. Burnt and the greens are not greens. 8iron bump and run works better than putter on most of the front nine. Back nine in slightly better condition but not by much. Very disappointing as we used to really enjoy this course set in the Mountains. Picture is of the 14th “green” this morning. Might as well had been putting on Mars!!

9 holes closed , customer service not the best, greens very shaggy. We tried to come back when other 9 holes were open from dampness since we were not told about it until at first tee . We prepaid and no leeway . We played same 9 twice. Sand traps full of rocks. Very disappointed.
