In summary

Golf Le Royal Laurentien is frequently praised for its beautiful course layout and well-maintained greens, offering challenging play with scenic views, particularly in the fall. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff, modern facilities, and convenient accommodations, such as the on-site cottages. However, some guests have noted issues with slow pace of play and outdated clubhouse amenities, suggesting that service and course conditions could be improved given the premium pricing.

What a course, just an absolute Gem, stayed on the Royal Laurentian Cottages right on the course, which made the accessibility to the course much easier. Really nice pro shop, the restaurant has delicious food. There is a snack shop between 9 and 10th hole, great place and easy to snag a drink and food. Really great practice putting greens as well. And the course itself, was really nicely maintained. Greens were nice, fairways were in great shape. Tee boxes were too. Challenging yet fun course too. 2nd trip for this course and will definitely do it again.

Played here as a single on a Friday and absolutely loved it. Price was 120$ with cart. Pace of play was 4hours 30 mins. Played from the blues and was really challenging with lots of narrow shots and strong elevation changes. The course layout was beautiful and the green layouts and speed were some of the hardest I’ve ever played. The driving range was off real grass and the putting / chipping green was quite nice. Only negative was clubhouse / snackbar / bathrooms were very old and could use some upgrades. For now it seems the money is on the golf course , which is good. Garmin users , the…

Really solid golf course with some fun holes. Former top 100 in Canada, very solid halfway hut, some elevation in the holes and a solid staff. Chalets on the course are gorgeous and incredibly convenient as well! Definitely worth playing and staying with a large group wanting an amazing experience

Look elsewhere if you are looking for anything resembling real golf. This is not a serious place. The course itself sits in low swamp land. The conditions are below average at best and the course is poorly marked. The rental clubs were incomplete sets of old, cheap thrifted clubs. The course was backed up and played very slow. Our experience was so disappointing we left after 9 holes and moved on with our day even though we paid handsomely for the full 18. They charge a premium price and deliver a lackluster product all-around.

Really nice layout and some very scenic holes. Unfortunately the service is awful for what you pay for. We played in almost 6 hours and no Marshall or starter. They had 3 gentlemen at bag drop and not one of them noticed us when we pulled up and dropped our clubs off ourselves. I didn’t meet a happy employee on the property…That weekend we played multiple courses in the area with outstanding service and would recommend. Much better options for this price point!

Played here recently with a group of guys and did not have a great experience. The pace of play was about 5h 30 minutes with no marshal or starter, even though there were multiple employees at bag drop. My group also did not have the most pleasant encounters with them. There was no beverage cart at this course (played on a Friday) and when we made the turn, the half way house had stopped making food (around 3:30 pm) the course layout and track is beautiful. It has great scenery and holes but the course conditions were not well kept up. This course is well below standard comparing it to other c…

Definitely a course worth playing! Facilities are modern and clean, and the staff is very friendly. Golf carts are in great shape and comfortable. There is a driving range, but we did not use it. Note that the order of the holes has changed since last year - there is a sign at the bag drop that explains it. You will want a good GPS or golf app to guide you through some of the holes where there are water hazards. The course has a good mix of hole designs - everything from wide-open par5s to narrow doglegs. There are a couple of waterfalls that add to the ambiance and some mountain views that ar…

This golf course is very beautiful, and autumn is the most beautiful season. Although the fee is a bit expensive,But is worth it.

Tough track with lots of elevation changes. Greens are generally decent in size and role true. Tough place to play if your games not with you.

We had a very good 2 night, 3 rounds of golf at Royal Laurentien earlier this week. We stayed at the Innushuk cabin, it was clean and spacious for our group of 12. We took advantage of the bbq's, hot tub, pool and sauna at our cabin. The course was in excellent shape, the breakfast’s were a great way to start our days. The staff on the course and in the restaurant were very pleasant and went out of their way to make our experience top notch. It was our 2nd year going there, we will be back next year.
