In summary

Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging yet accessible layout, and friendly, accommodating staff, particularly for events like weddings. The venue's amenities, such as the clubhouse and pro shop, are also well-regarded, and the food service receives positive feedback. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance during renovations, occasional staff interactions, and equipment reliability, which have impacted their overall experience.

We had our Wedding at the GP Golf and Country Club. I stopped by about 8 months before the wedding, without any appointment and Scott W sat down with me and talked me through how they did weddings there. I was sold right away on all the things he promised - and boy did he deliver!! The venue was gorgeous, the deck was a great place for the ceremony. Scott drove us around in golf carts for our photo's - so much fun! The guests sat on the deck and had drinks and snacks after the ceremony. Then our dinner was AWESOME. Service was fast and friendly. I cannot rate this place, or Scott, highly enou…

I love this place. It was my first time and the staff were super friendly. Some G&CC have a certain weird elitist air about them but these young men and women were amazing. I golfed with a few of their members and I was impressed. The price here is a little high for a course that is in the middle of a lot of renovations. The clubhouse is great and their proshop is fully stocked. The course is challenging but also has enough holes that are forgiving enough for the casual golfer to have some fun.

Pretty good experience had a very nice server Kortney who had good service, however the manager was screaming at this chick and that was not very cool.

The course was great had a awful experience with the staff when we booked for nine holes the staff kept interrupting/rushing me my mother and my girlfriends game to the point we were not having fun. When the game was done I asked to speak to the management the gentleman at the front desk Said its "not my problem " then proceeded to give me a fake phone number. I never been treated poorly from the staff until I stepped on this course I will never do business here. absolute horrible day when it was supposed to be a wonderful with the family.

We played the course on June 30, and 1 of the holes was under construction, and another had a temporary green. Unfortunately, the course had lots of weeds on most of the holes. We played the Dunes the day before, and it was in much better shape.

It's in great shape this year. Overpriced for a weekday morning and a lovely grounds worker sat(not working) beside our green with the industrial blower running greenside for 11 minutes watching us chip and putt. Otherwise would've been 5 stars.
