In summary

Green Crest Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and enjoyable amenities such as a beer garden and food options. The course features narrow fairways and small greens, offering a challenging experience for golfers of various skill levels. However, many visitors express frustration with the slow pace of play, often attributed to closely scheduled tee times and management issues, which can detract from the overall experience.

Easy location, friendly staff, good food and drinks, and golf supplies. It's a moderate to hard course, very well maintained, and the prices are reasonable.

Nicer older style course. Does have some construction going on but would recommend. Course has narrow fairways, tree-lined, small greens. A lot of fun to play. There is some highway noise so if that's not for you would not recommend.

Great course, narrow fairways, challenging for all skill levels. Only negative is crowded tee times, took 5 hours to play 18 holes

Reviews are accurate. 1 hour and 10 minutes into round and we were teeing off on hole 3. At the start of hole 2 there were 4 groups on the hole. Pace of play is abysmal. 85 degree day with dry grass and it was cart path only. Left after 3rd hole and marshal came up to us saying that pace speeds up after hole 5. So the pace speeds up over halfway through the round when we are at 30 minutes per hole with 4 groups on every single hole and people waiting at every tee box? Don't believe it for a second. Maybe it speeds up because people leave this dreadful course halfway into round. Greens were dec…

Course is actually really nice. However the owner is money hungry and books tee times every 8 min. Played 18 this Sunday and it took 6.5 hours.

This is a beautiful golf course. Parents who bring your children to this course, please stop them from dragging their feet on the greens. Have more respect for the hard work and dedication that goes into the maintenance.

Would go 0 stars if I could. Course itself isn’t bad but was told by starter pace was 2 hours for 9 holes. Screen in cart had us 5 minutes ahead of pace and get told by ranger we’re 1 and a half holes behind pace then tells us the screens don’t determine pace. Won’t be back

Staff is friendly, course is in great shape. Beer garden is awesome. The twist has ice cream for the kids. I've played here for years and this it is in the beat shape I've seen

The course is awesome but they suck at managing the schedule. The tee times are less than 5 minutes apart. You're up peoples asses while they are up yours. When you are waiting at tee boxes with the group ahead of you and behind you all at the same time, it's a trash setup not worth $50 dollars a round.

Terrible experience, my brand new car was parked in the lot while playing 18 holes at Green Crest. Someone cracked my windshield with a golf ball. Jason and staff did nothing to help my situation and took zero responsibility. There are no signs posted warning patrons the risk of having damage done to vehicles. I'm out a $1000...

Worst Golf Experience Ever – Rude Staff and Unfair Treatment If you’re looking for a relaxing day of golf, do yourself a favor and avoid Green Crest Golf Club at all costs. Our recent experience was ruined by the most condescending and overbearing ranger we’ve ever encountered—Bob, I’m looking at you. Despite playing at a solid pace of 15 minutes per hole, we were repeatedly harassed about holding up the groups behind us. Mind you, the groups in front of us were the real cause of any slowdown. But instead of managing the situation fairly, Bob decided to zero in on us. To make things worse, t…

If you’re looking for an enjoyable round of golf, steer clear of Green Crest Golf Course. My recent experience there was nothing short of a disaster, thanks to the unprofessional and frankly, rude behavior of the course ranger, Bob. We were playing with two new golfers, averaging a reasonable 15-minute pace per hole. There was a slow group ahead of us, and the group behind us was playing from the gold tees (slowing down the course even more), yet Ranger Bob decided to single out our group for no apparent reason. Instead of managing the course efficiently, he harassed us as if we were the ones…
